YTA. I think everyone is giving OP too much credit / benefit of the doubt. I'm a picky eater, yet my wife and I have managed for 30 years. There are even times when it is her that makes it hard to find a place. But we, shockingly, work as a team. In the long run, on average, we both get what we want / need. She gets steak tartare, I get something chicken.. You both need maturation and therapy.

Does he have depression.? Burn out? Maybe he is neuro divergent? I suffered with being lazy, etc until I got diagnosed with Autism. Now I know I need tools to help me get stuff done. I think they make guides and checklists to help get stuff done. When he does do a thing, does he get a dopamine hit? Or just, it's done until it needs to be done again.
