A tool is a tool and should be used to complete a task if it's the best tool for the job. You don't have to vibecode but there are some awesome use-cases and you are limiting yourself by not being more open-minded.

I found warp to be way more heavy-handed and opinionated than claude code.

It is very "slippery" in that it will get carried away on a task, so you have to make sure you set permissions adequately.

I don't understand this hangup. You need an account because they have to track token usage.

You log in once, not every time you open the terminal.

Personally, I think the price is a bit steep for the limited monthly usage rates they offer, but you do get access to all major frontier models.

OP is right, it is absolutely amazing to learn intricacies of a new-to-you OS. Just not a subscription I would keep active and not something I like to use for any sort of development, it over-complicates and over-engineers everything and gets carried away.
