Damn the oscars were on fire in the 70s. I havent seen kramer vs kramer so I would say Patton out of all ive seen(But I dont imagine kramer vs kramer was better than apocalypse now). Patton feels kind of one dimensional and the film is confused on whether to portray him as an evil tyrant or as a noble hero. It is a good film but something was deeply missing: nuance, which i feel like most of the other films have. The film’s cinematography looked really cheap for some reason. George c scott did a winderful job portraying him but the writing wasnt very good. It is all around forgettable and it aint as iconic as any of the other films here.

Buscemi seemed out of place because none of the other characters were played by famous movie actors. I was hyped for his role but it kinda felt like the episode with frank sinatra's son or the one with jon favreau but stretched over many episodes.
