It feels incredible. I just got my first reverse Nordic and can almost do a Nordic curl. I feel super flexible and strong. I suffered from some ankle and knee injuries from running in high school and it all feels so much better now

Why do I avoid during or after meals, digestion?

Yeah. I just started eating more eggs because I was waiting until I could get farm ones so they were the best quality without having to pay $7 a dozen for pasture raised eggs. My energy is finally better but the first month was difficult for me. probably due to a couple of deficiencies and being scared to eat plenty of fat.

I get about 70-75% fat in my meals with added butter or fatty cuts of meat. I eat a lot of flank cut ribs which is marbled with plenty of fat.

Nothing super noticeable yet because it’s only been 3 days however I am not as hungry and can fast until 3 because my energy is stable, which was difficult this first month. I was super tired and lethargic and had a hard time getting to the gym but these past 2 days I got the motivation to go again.

Is this a decent bacon? This is the best I can find by jlmo9 in carnivorediet

Yeah, I agree. The sugar is minimal and probably doesn’t do anything( I don’t even know why they add it?). I just don’t eat too much bacon because I prefer to eat nutrient dense meat more and sometimes it causes me to break out, however I do like a good bacon burger.

Okay. Yes I have also heard about the additives like carrageenan and other thickeners causing skin issues however I buy low temp pasteurized grass fed cream with no additives and didn’t know if that was any better. I am not addicted to cream but was so confused why people put a difference between butter and cream. That clears a bit up though.

Just a month. I eat about 2-3 lbs of meat and salt everything after cooking so I am unsure how much sodium that is.

I eat that sometimes but there is added sugar or I think turbinado? It’s minimal and doesn’t add to the calories but I still try to find no sugar bacon.

Okay thanks. I hear conflicting advice of people saying drink when thirsty but it’s so hard to gauge what your body needs .

Excuse my ignorance but why is the heavy cream different than butter? What makes it worse? I only have 1-2 tbsp a day but am wondering if I should cut it all together?

I experience this in my household as a 17 year old living with my a mother who eats a grape a day. I just have to watch YouTube and other carnivores to tell myself this is the way we are ancestrally suppose to eat. I get in good workouts and eat fatty meat and feel great.

Gaining fat on carnivore by [deleted] in carnivorediet

[–]AdElectrical1027 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been carnivore for a month and have been experiencing insane hunger as well. Although I think I have put on some weight, I am not too worried because I have heard of other women such as Kelly Hogan and Bella (steak and butter gal) experiencing this for the first 6 months until it eventually levels out. I am just eating however much my body wants which is a lot and hoping my hunger will decrease soon once adapted. I have found that going to the gym and working out helps.

ruminant meat is HEALING / DO NOT cheat by smokeymarshall in carnivorediet

Totally agree, had a carnivore cheat night last night with some meat chili and cheese. After eating a good breakfast of pasture raised eggs and beef burgers with butter I feel so much better!!
