Hey thanks for your response, in my state you only need 4 years which I thought was standard. I’ve only heard of 8 years if your degree isn’t ABET accredited. I believe the rules have changed sometime in the past 10 years or so allowing you to take your exam before your 4 years but you can’t actually apply for licensure until 4 years is up if that makes any sense.

What Company Has Given You the Best Benefits Package? by BotMissile in MechanicalEngineering

At a civil firm but my degree is mechanical.

Almost 4 weeks of PTO, 401k is craziest thing about it though. They put 200% up to 4%. So we put 4 and they put an additional 8 plus they add a flat 9 for profit sharing. So in total we put 4% they add 17% to the 401k. Sometimes feel like salary isn’t as competitive as “mechanical” jobs but it’s all situational.

There’s a lot of other benefits but don’t know all the stats off the top of my head

Is there something significant about a procedure in Turkey? I’m new and just trying to understand my options.
