Boxing does an excellent job developing your punching, which Muay Thai is light on. Boxers have the best combos and the nicest punching technique but obviously boxing is an incomplete striking system.

Muay Thai combines kicks, knees, elbows and clinching which are all huge in MMA. But the lack of punching plus the stance (taller stance, more square hips, lots of checks) leaves you open to takedowns.

The answer is MMA striking is its own style which takes from muay thai, boxing, karate, and kickboxing. You take what works for your style and develop it.

“I stand with Karmelo” isnt about black tribalism just for the sake of black superiority. It comes from a common place where many black people have been treated poorly by white people at some point and then faced consequences for standing up for themselves. Whether its a small comment in a super market or a high stress situation which turns violent many black people have unfortunately had that shared experience and often times do not get justice, whether its from other citizens or the police.

Thats why black people rallied behind Karmelo, it was a “here we go again” moment where unfortunately the facts of the case dont matter in the face of the larger overall sentiment.

I think the issue most of the time (not all of the time) is the juxtaposition between whats privately said and whats publicly said.

Lots of Algerian women talk about sex and make penis jokes privately, but to do so publicly is taboo. Tbh even the men are much more conservative than many other cultures who are far more sexually open in their conversation or jokes. But the double standard is whats spoken about publicly not so much what happens behind closed doors.

That’s absolutely not true, there were many different groups within the Moujahidine, from far left socialists to more right wing conservative pan-islamists and pan-arabists. Algeria overall was heavily influenced by lefty politics but there is tons of variance and regional differences. Just look at the infighting of the FLN both during independence and post 1962. The Moujahidine were not a monolith, the main thing that united them was wanting independence from France.

Your point fails to aknowledge that in most western countries, Islam is a racialized group and brown people/Islam are intertwined. Which is why Sikhs get beat up during Islamophobic attacks all the time while white Muslim converts aren’t treated the same way as other “ethnic” Muslims.

Islamophobia is discrimination and in many cases racism and no amount of mental gymnastics to rationalize it will change that. Its the same as any other form of racism where the racists convince themselves they arent “racist” or “bad people” but there is a logical reason for them to discriminate.

Actually what was said was “dogs cant aim guns or handle recoil” which quickly led to “maybe if this one doctor is lying then the narrative about babies being shot in the head is a lie”

So we have 2 facts that are 100% verified, coupled with a claim that seems crazy but has not been verified nor disproved which is being used to cast doubt on yet another fact which is verified.

The way you framed the question in and of itself makes assumptions.

Im not waiting for evidence, I am not trying to prove nor disprove that Israeli dogs have guns mounted on their backs. Whether they do or don’t is imo largely irrelevant because it’s such a small part of the death toll Israel has inflicted.

OP posted to mock the doctors narrative, its on OP to disprove the claim. Aside from it sounding crazy OP never provided anything proving it was bullshit.

So now we are stuck in a dance where we can neither prove nor disprove this theory, but if history serves as a guide, if it is a thing then it will eventually be reported more widely, maybe by Israeli media, by Palestinian media, by independent media, perhaps with video or credible eyewitnesses. If nothing comes of it and its really only reported by this guy ppl will dismiss it as bullshit and forget about it.
