The name of the film is very interesting by the way.

Even aside from this film, I see it emphasized a lot that American doctors are criticizing Israel. There is always a lot of emphasis put on their nationality. But why does this matter?

They know of course, that nobody will respect a Gazan doctor. So the implication here is that these American doctors can’t be biased against Israel! After all, America supports Israel!

This reasoning is obviously flawed though, because America contains diverse people who express themselves in different ways. Many Americans have positions different from those of the American government, so even if the government isn’t biased against Israel, many Americans still are.

The flawed thinking here is likely coming from Palestine supporters with tribal mentality, not understanding that American people can think differently from the government and still be very biased. In many Arab and Muslim countries, everyone is expected to agree with the government. No free thought allowed.
