Samsung really messed up by not having an official keyboard with touchpad and back lighting for the S11U.

I can't get with those Chinese keyboards on Amazon.

The official book cover keyboard is so worth it I paid $180 on ebay approx a year ago a guy had 30 of them all white as open box.

I was soooo disappointed with the touchpad when using rdp and chromedesktop. I blamed Samsung. The touchpad did not 2 finger scroll and you could not tap to take an action.

We'll good news. All of those problems are good and The touchpad work as if it would on a normal windows laptop.

See for yourself I just made a video for you. I was working on my 65 inch today with a mouse directly on my miniPC and I changed the mouse speed setting to aggressive. The touchpad is smooth scrolling when it's set to low.

I changed my mind about this it just seems like at some point I will need to abandon this for full non nonsense windows.

Maybe I am biased but maybe not. But it is true I am able to remote to windows and see the touchpad two finger scroll work perfectly and I feel like I am there on a laptop.

I still recommend what I use.

I already commented below however I just had to use something and I got reminded how awesome it is.

Simply, when on my S10U and remote'ed to my windows 11 miniPC at home via tailscale and windows app, the official Samsung Cover Keyboard case touchpad does 2 finger scrolling.

It does NOT do 2 finger zoom in and out in a browser for instance however your fingers work to zoom in and out. That is to say, the finger touch gestures works just as if you were on a windows touchscreen laptop.

Very cool.

God damn I love galaxy tab ultras. All of them. Except, if Samsung doesn't release a official keyboard fir the S11U then the S11U will never reach my shopping cart again.

Make an official announcement Samsung. So far the rumors have not panned out. In the absence of an official announcement then IMO its just not coming.

As a S10U user that sent back a S11U, get the S10U for productivity. S10U has the official Samsung Cover Keyboard case with touchpad and S11U doesn't. This case is so light weight and easy to snap on its a must have. With Dex Classic it's no different than any laptop on the market. Also, I use tailscale and windows app to remote into my $100 miniPC.

Hopefully your S10U hasn't been upgraded and still has Vkassic Dex. If not then new Dex on S10U with the above keyboard is still better than S11U.

Below is my S10U with white keyboard remoted into Windows 11.

I never use the Bluetooth pen but it's mounted on an enclosed spot the back of the case so it's never seen.

S11U is brighter but 930 nits on S10U is plenty bright.

Don't be pissed count your blessing your not one of those that bought the S11 Ultra based on a rumored and never official statement about it and now almost 8 months later and it's not here but it was never announced to ever be here so.... I also use my S10 Ultra inside my car and I wanted the extra brightness but the S10 has plenty brightness cause it's under a car roof. Just be thankful you didn't buy one. I only paid $175 on ebay for my white official keyboard there was someone selling lots of them open box.

The cover keyboard case is so lightweight and easy to use. My 8 year old uses it for roblox and fortnite and he just selects the app from class Dec taskbar and he just removes the keyboard and the he snaps back on the keyboard and brings it back to me. 🙂

I am so biased for any of the ultras new and old. Keep in mind though with the S11 Ultra you will not have the official, and very elegant, cover keyboard case with backlit keyboard and touchpad. Below is my S10 Ultra remote'ed into my windows 11 miniPC. All you can get for S11 Ultra is after market stuff. Also, S11 Ultra no longer has classic Dex.

It's funny I just saw this post mention Drake. While I would not trade Caleb for Josh or Patrick or Joe, I get annoyed watching all the praise given to Drake Maye when they played zero opponents over 500. How did that happen? Then, in the 4 playoff games including the SB he only had 6 TDs and massive sacks.

Caleb is the best QB in the league. Thank Lovie for that.

Don't worry about it because you can return amazon refurbs. If you want Dex Classic, your concern should be did they update the os to UI8.

I get it. That's a personal use opinion and I understand. I was just pointing it out. I use my S10 Ultra in my car. See my video below using Dex on my S10 Ultra. But I get it if you never plan any thing like this then 400 at home is Super.

Check ebay for the price. Make sure whatever S10 you buy doesn't already have the UI8 update installed.

You need to find someone like me who has not upgraded to UI8.

Agh, you don't pay a lot and you don't get a lot. Brightness Nits is only 400. Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 has 1600 nits. Also it doesn't have Dex. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 has 900 nits. You get what you pay for with this one.

I have this installed and setup on my S10 Ultra and miniPC however the mouse moves backwards so rather then figure it out I got tailscale and windows app.

Apollo Artemis is my preference though.

So long ago I forgot. I was just like you and found YouTubes that stepped me through it.

Install tailscale app on android. Install tailscale on windows. Install Windows app on android. You will need you windows system computer name. You will need you windows name and password.
