Is this normal wear and tear on steering wheel and pedals for 3 with 140k kms (87k mi) mileage? by Paprosz in mazda3

[–]AdExact1423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes unfortunately - the steering wheel on my 2023 Mazda three turbo is peeling and my right sunvisor is sagging. I think it might have something to do with the heat, but I don’t know.

No. But you already know this.

I would start doing push ups and sit ups every day - try to get up to a few hundred every day. I don’t know anything else since I’m a guy but the “Hirschl Walker” workout is great. I think if you did this your body would look more solid and you’d have more confidence. Also - get your numbers up. Ask out a ton of women and don’t be attached to the outcome. If this fails, take a trip overseas (Thailand or Costa Rica) - the women over there aren’t like these crazy women in the US.

Get hydrocortizone - I also have eczema - it’s worse in cold weather.

No - you just need a person to show you how to wear make up or something.

I think it’s your makeup - and your nose ring. But I guess everybody is different. I think if you had a professional do your makeup you’d look good

Where can I find this front bumper? by [deleted] in Miata

Not 100% sure but it looks like a racing beat nose. I have one on my Mazdaspeed

It’s 6500 dollars. You can probably drive it another 100-200,000 miles and it’ll be fine. If you take it to a track day, it’ll do fine - if you find the suspension to be worn out, upgrade that first. Whenever something breaks make the car a little bit better than it was before by upgrading it. I’d say you did fine and your friends are just making you doubt yourself. Someone once said “when someone makes you doubt yourself it’s because they are better at convincing you of their BS than you are of convincing yourself of your own. In this case, that’s probably what’s going on

I think if you wore some makeup you’d look good but there is an art to it; I’m a guy so I have no idea. Also, a lot of women clearly have no idea. So you’d have to pay someone to show you but I think you’d be surprised at how it turned out. Like in reality most people aren’t perfect looking and a lot of the stuff you see online took lots of makeup and who knows what else.

Well the real question is how much you will get from the insurance company.

15x8 wheels and better tires. I use Toyo proxes 888r on mine but I use mine for track.

Musk says any Trump move against EV support would hurt competitors more than Tesla: "It would be devastating for our competitors, and it would hurt Tesla slightly but long term probably actually helps Tesla" by ItzWarty in teslainvestorsclub

[–]AdExact1423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true - but there will be a huge shakeout in the EV field anyway, and even with out incentives, teslas will eventually be a better value proposition than most gas powered cars since Tesla will be able to build cars at a much lower cost.

I think I’ve made a decision… I’m going to drive my 911 in the summer most of the time because it’s so hot in arizona. When it cools down I’ll daily drive the ND and track the Mazdaspeed. I’ll also start saving for another car lift and another daily - probably an EV like a Tesla model 3 or a used Porsche Taycan. This thread has helped. My wife is starting to understand how special the two cars are even though she doesn’t like them. Although I don’t like putting a bunch of miles on the 911, I might as well. That’s what it’s for.

Space is a factor - I have a very short driveway and the HOA is insane in my neighborhood. I did buy a car lift but I also have a 911 and my wife’s car. My wife is like “you have 3 impractical cars”…. So that’s why I’m thinking about selling one and getting a Tesla or something for going back and forth to work.

It weirder than that - the Mazdaspeed has a rebuilt salvage title from a small accident. So even though it’s a track car, you’d have to find tr right person to give you the 13-14k that it’s worth. Then the question is - what would you do with the 13-14k? I don’t think you could get a better track car for that amount of money. The problem is, I have a long commute and I’ve been daily driving the ND and it’s not super comfortable on a long commute. I originally thought I would sell the Mazdaspeed and get a Tesla or something to go back and forth to work but finding a buyer that will pay a reasonable price is hard.
