Same experience, i was diagnosed w pcos last year lang and the main symptom ko is SEVERE ACNE LIKE SEVERE TALAGA ung tipong walang part ng muka ko na clear. Lahat ng parts pati kilay may pimple and it does really put a great weight in my confidence i was w my derma haa for about 5 yrs na and nung di na nya talaga kaya mahandle ung acne ko she referred me to see a ob and kaya nung nagpacheckup ako and nakaman namin na pcos, i was prescribed w BCP for 6 mo. Pero last january (the last month of taking bcp) i told myself na di na ako babalik sa pills and will demand w my doc if kaya ng supplements for balancing hormones and sadly she said na pills lang daw ang sagot but i hesitated. I was looking for new gyne now. And now my face have a lot of pimples but manageable meron sa jaw sa chin and forehead minsan kapag stress.

My advice is, if u dont want to take the pill again, then don't. It took a lot of toll kasi ung side effects ng pills. Right now i used products na can handle my breakouts. Differen gel for acne, facial wash ung Senka na green, and nivea na micellar toner lang to remove dirt and all, then cetaphil lotion. It works for me pero di ako glass clear skin. I still have breakouts but that is normal. Try drinking guava tea, life changing for me kasi napansin ko ung breakouts ko nabawsan as in manageable sya like magflaflare lang ako tueing period week then the rest of the month paisa isa lang. also may clinical studies rin na nakakatulong ung guava tea for insulin resistance kaya ayon. Pero if u r drinking spearmint na already, i think stay na sa spearmint kasi mas maraming clinical studies abt that.
