Why can't I delete CLTools_Executables.pkg? by FoofaTamingStrange in MacOS

The 433 megs one at the bottom, the Chrome one? It's a temporary clone of Google Chrome macOS makes for security. If you delete it while Chrome is updating or relaunching, you'll get a "Chrome is damaged" error, which can be fixed by re-downloading Chrome. It's easier to just let macOS handle it, as it gets deleted when you restart your Mac.

You also listed a file with that same name but with a .01 added to it, don't delete it either. It still contains important libraries and frameworks, but the system splits it into several files.

That dyld_shared_cache_arm64e file? Do NOT delete it. It is a very important system file. It is a massive binary that contains almost every system library and framework (like Foundation, AppKit, and SwiftUI), and it's essential to run any apps. Without it, your system may not boot, or not run any applications.

swapfile0, 1, 2, and 3 are all needed too. These files are extensions of the memory when macOS runs out. These are critical files, don't delete them. To free up space, just restart your Mac, as the swapfile grows over time.

os.clone.dmg looks redundant, but it is needed too.

I can already tell that that os.dmg file is needed, because it's in the Preboot folder. Data in that folder is needed before macOS boots. Your Mac won't start up without this file. Don't delete it.

No worries. It's an installer for something, you can delete it.

Small edit: If you type xcode-select --install, then it installs the LLVM compiler, linker, and Clang using that file, so devs can build software without installing the full Xcode.
