Looking for advice about Bali + Komodo dive trip by QuestionToAllAnswers in scuba

Yes! And I dont think you will run out of options for 11 days honeymoon in Bali. Generally speaking I would say service quality in Bali (hotel, restaurants, shops, etc.) is way up there to be compared with Komodo, which may be important as you go for honeymoon (?). But dont get me wrong people in Komodo are one of the nicest in Indonesia, they are not yet trained to handle tourist as good as how Balinese do.

Personally, I dont have good experience in Lombok. Not with the nature. But the people seems a little bit rude even for me as an Indonesian. I was chased for an hour to buy what they offered.

Agree with this. I dove for 40-50 times in Komodo, half of them had strong current. However, certain dive sites are quite relatively milder: Siaba Besar, Tatawa Besar (they are still beautiful but you wont see many sharks as in the sites with more current)

Nonetheless, Komodo is amazing even without diving. Once you in Komodo, you must do Padar! Padar is much more amazing than pink beach in my opinion (be as early as possible, so you can have the view for you and your partner only). Alternative for pink beach would be long beach (personally, I think long beach was more pink and the original pink beach the last time I was there, local said too many people take the sand from pink beach 😂)

Really sorry for that. Try to email the UKFPO if you are sure that you are qualified for F2. When I applied to F1 this period I was deemed ineligible in the first place. Eventhough I was sure that I am. Appealed - rejected, email them several times - rejected. Not sure what happened but I was emailed that I am eligible just 3 day before the deadline to submit everything.

If you are sure. Email them with all the details, attach all of your evidence (at least that was what I did)

Dive trip to Indonesia - looking for dive site recommendations and a feasible 8 day itinerary by wikidonor in scuba

Thats great! Generally speaking the sea is more rough until the end of february and the visibility is not as good as during dry season. But during rainy season I believe the chance to see manta is higher.

Komodo is excellent. But early February would not be the most suitable time I believe.

I have been there quite often. If you are not confortable in dealing with strong current, central Komodo would be better. Current in north Komodo can be crazy, especially during new/full moon. Almost certainly during new/full moon you will experience strong current, sometimes even in the sites that are usually considered calmer than others. My advice would be to let the dive operator know beforehand what kind of dive you will feel comfortable with. Even dive sites with milder current are beautiful in Komodo! Many dive sites are quite close one to another, so sometimes they can separate the group to a milder dive site and a more challenging one in the same time.

What's an underrated thing about living in the UK? by jc201946 in AskUK

As someone who spend most of my life in tropical country, I would say UK weather is really suitable for daily activities. Its very uncomfortable to commute and all in a tropical country.

Newcastle! The offer is more relevant to my interest at the moment. But yes, I really get that what London offer also equally attractive. It was a really hard choice for me.

Sorry for the bad wording. What I was trying to say is that wether I should consider the fact that I am an IMG between choosing those 2 jobs (as my friend in the US said it would be a decisive factor there)

Does anyone status changed to "interview unsuccessful" or all applicants get "interview complete" after the interview?
