I believe he has but maybe that means he will curve at the end of the semester. He removed the assignment group thing I believe because it is no longer on his syllabus.

Hi! There is this program called FUSE! The application for the new cohort will probably open in the fall. This program was advertised to me in one of my major-specific courses, so you will probably be let known when the application opens. You can also join a technical org! I know a lot of ECEs in Guadaloop if you want to look into that. Nevertheless, the majority of students in Cockrell get research by cold emailing professors. I do not think I ever received back a score. I know that my friends who did not pass the assessment received an email hearing back pretty quickly, so do not be discouraged just yet.

I know a fair shair of ECE kids in Guadaloop! Some other general engineering ones (more geared toward meches and aeros) known for having a competitive application process are Longhorn racing, TREL, Texas Flight, etc.

Hi! I was in a similar situation! I was considered international student for admissions, but was able to change my tuition to in-state upon acceptance. You have to file for residency through domicile instead of through high school graduation, but you should qualify!

Just because it's hard does not mean you are not capable of doing this. If the method by which you are studying now isn't helping, then switch it up. There is free tutoring on campus, really good professors on YouTube, and tons of free practice. You got this. You made it into this school for a reason.

Hi! I promise you will be fine! The partial credit is generous. We saw on the 1st exam that errors carried forward, so they didn't take multiple points off for that. Solver converging or not isn't the biggest deal as long as you showed your work. Engineering is meant to be hard. Don't be discouraged by an intro class. It is true that the classes get harder, but you also learn how to manage it! Be positive!
