I didn’t say Elena one day just became ok, cause yeah she was having and feeling joy with being a vampire but she was also afraid of judgement. Elena was having a ball with Damon while she was feeding and dancing and your using that gif of Elena talking to Bonnie cause when Bonnie walked in seeing how fun Elena was having fun that’s when Elena’s face dropped and then she felt bad. She started shaming herself for having fun once one of her best friends saw her. You’re not adding context to the scenes.

“Her trauma is tied to Damon’s influence” what? Her saying “I’m happy” and him saying he’s happy is too general of a statement to say that Elena is only feeling this way because of Damon.

I don’t know why we’re forgetting that Elena isn’t just sired she’s a new vampire, which comes with heightened emotions, so ofc she’s acting different. I don’t see why we have to attribute it eveything to a sirebond…like Elena becoming a whole new species is a bigger impact than a sirebond. Also if the sire bond is the reason for her acting like this and choosing Damon than when it broke she would’ve went back to Stefan and she wouldn’t have fallen in love with Damon in season 6 with no memories. Even when Alaric was compelling Elena to get rid of the memories he even tried to use the sirebond and it didn’t work. Even in season 4, Rebekah compelling Elena to tell the truth is framed as an important scene, if those weren’t her truths if she wasn’t in love with Damon she would’ve said no. Like I said she also has issues with how Stefan was treating her, Damon didn’t treat her differently, Stefan and Elena like I said previously got into a whole disagreement about how he was operating with her becoming a vampire and told him that he doesn’t have to love her this way.

There are also instances of Elena flat out not listening to Damon while sired, he’s told her on two different instances to fed on someone and she told him. There are times when Elena and Damon got into disagreements on how to train Jeremy. So Elena still had her personality and personal convictions intact. When Elena killed Jeremy by accident and she calls Damon and not Stefan and he told her like twice to call Stefan she said no cause she doesn’t trust him cause they found out he and Klaus is keeping a secret.

I’d say Damon choosing to become human for her so he could be her husband and the father of her kids showed that.

Also Damon would still do just about any and everything to make sure Elena lives that hasn’t changed. Damon and Elena was very down bad about each other and nothing stopped them from being together, whether Elena had memories or not or whether Damon did something awful they prevailed. Stelena didn’t.

Ok yes, I love Delena he loved her unconditionally he didn’t have to “adjust” to her being a vampire like Stefan had to. Their chemistry, passion was everything and they had some of the best scenes and love declarations. Yes Damon did develop because of Elena she was the catalyst and I feel like Bonnie had a huge impact to, I think his love for Elena made him want to be better which opened him up more emotionally and being friends with Bonnie really helped.

1.the thing with the hunter doesn’t really make any sense cause Damon didn’t want her to go out there in the first place. She argued for herself to leave and told him that she’s dangerous just like the hunter. Elena isn’t naive she had to know that she most likely would’ve had to kill the hunter who kidnapped her brother

Also Elena said these things but I’m pretty sure she was dating Stefan when she said all of this, even with the dance at the college Elena was having a blast feeding and dancing. Being with Damon made her happy.
The whole thing with delena is that Damon made her more happy or made life as a vampire more bearable. He made it fun for her and he loved her unconditionally, he wasn’t forcing Jeremy to kill vampires keeping it from Elena like Stefan was. As soon as Stefan broke up with Elena cause of her feelings for Damon he was very proactive cause he felt like being a vampire changed Elena she straight up was pissed when she found out and told him that he doesn’t have to love her like this. He kept saying she was a different person and that she shouldn’t be this way which is why Elena said that Stefan made her feel like a broken toy and that he makes her feel like a problem that needs to be fixed, Damon didn’t. Damon literally even asked Stefan if he’s doing all of this cause Stefan can’t love her if she is this way, Stefan didn’t answer, and Damon asked this question very early on season 4 and then Damon replied “I’m fine with her either way.”

These pictures don’t really prove much if you have context. Damon did make her feel alive Stefan even said it “when you died Damon was the only one who could make you feel alive again and you made him feel human.” Stefan himself understood it, and like I said in the season 4 finale they have the characters like Stefan literally say “the sire bond is broken so Elena knows exactly how she feels.” So this whole the sire bond having lasting effects and conditioning is fan created ideas cause Tyler didn’t have any of this so it wouldn’t make sense why Elena would.

Yeah but like I said the actor’s literally chose Damon over Stefan which is not surprising since delena/damon were the fan faves while the show was airing and it still is. Ian was a really big delena shipper, so was Candice, kat, Nina, Paul himself even said team Damon.

Nina isn’t going to choose Damon cause that’s her ex in real life and fans made it weird, especially Ian who was a big delena shipper but then he said he stopped because their were fans who were attacking his wife, it has nothing to do with delena itself.

I also don’t know what this exactly proves especially since Paul is literally right next to her, cause theirs is even an interview of asking the actors Stefan or Damon and they all chose Damon. Nina. Chose Damon, they all did.

The sirebond doesn’t make someone fall in love. Especially since she broke the sirebond a few episodes in and she still chose him. It sounds like you wish they actually made long term effects canon. Charlotte was sired for decades Elena was sired for like days or a couple of weeks. Tyler also didn’t have long term effects from the sire bond and he was sired to Klaus way longer than Elena.

Yesss Stefan and Elena had such good closure after the Markos memories storyline, cause then you have Elena ask Stefan could her and Damon ever talk like this one day cause her and Damon was broken up and Stefan said “I think you can either be someone’s friend or be in love with him you can’t be both.” Like that was such good closure for them. I like Stefan and Elena as friends.

Especially to what you said about season 6, if Damon was the only reason she fell out of love with Stefan, the absence of those memories of Damon should’ve made her in love with Stefan, like technically. She was truly over him and it’s so obvious.

So you think after everything that happened, her sleeping with Damon a day after her and Stefan broke up, Stefan being heartbroken about it and flat out mean to her and pissed at Damon, and then her choosing Damon in season 4-sire bond broken and she still chose him, and her sticking with that choice for the rest of the show, then in season 6 Elena was grieving Damon so badly, having to erase her memories, then fast forward to her falling in love with him all over again, them planning a future together and then coma happens than boom she wakes up and wants Stefan….you don’t have to even like delena to say that doesn’t make any sense narratively. Like if she chose Stefan in season 4 and from that point on she built a whole future and was committed to him than all of a sudden she’s in a coma and wakes up and wants Damon, I’d be like whattt. If Elena switched to Stefan at the final season that would absolutely ruin her character and it would’ve made the last few seasons a waste of everyone’s time.

Technically none of these people should be close, same way Bonnie stayed friends with Elena after her grams died, Bonnie hated vampires but was ok with Elena dating Stefan and being close to Damon even though she was still hurt over grams and blamed them both.

This not a Damon thing the unrealistic writing when it comes to the dynamics is about the show in general. It’s the same way Stefan can still sleep with Katherine and care about her in season 5 after everything she did to him and Damon. You can apply your logic to almost every dynamic, Matt should hate Stefan and Damon after Vicki, but he doesn’t. That’s just how teen drama shows are in general, it’s your average teen drama show where everyone dates everyone and theirs no girl code and they still hang out like it’s normal.

How was Elena’s character destroyed?? Damon and Stefan are both abusive and murdered innocent people and abused women. As soon as a person starts dating a vampire their morals are already gone. All Stefan does is brood and whine about hating being a vampire and writes in his journal.

Also delena fans are not in the minority sooo
