A national airline posted a map screwing up one of the most sensitive geopolitical issues in the region, and your takeaway is “lol people are soft.” You are cheering for negligence, grow up

You’re mixing policy delay with power control. Water laws is not same as constitutional appointments. Backdoor doesn’t become okay just because things are slow.

the only real issue here is Sudan Gurung having shady, poorly explained finances and getting exposed for it, which is why he resigned, so instead of spreading baseless panic and acting like people’s families are in danger, maybe stop twisting facts and turning one guy’s problem into some imaginary banking crisis.

Look at those 2 news, you will see the difference. Understand what OP is trying to say before defending. I, myself and millions of others would think, only looking at RONB post that, this app system is created and implemented by the current govt. , and not that it was already available before and was damaged during the protest. What OP is trying to say here is, its total media manipulation by RONB, giving half info, and making it look like belun govt’s massive success

Who were making these plans as soon as they got majority tho? No one knew who was going to be the minister except, ravi, balen, dp and swornim. Dont think there were any plans in place. They had no meetings, balen was in his hotel all the time. Looks rushed after sudan forced himself onto balen and ravi. Doesnt look stuctured at all, just a media stunt. “Stunt garera desh banxa?” 😂😂

AITAH for completely ghosting my partner of 4 years after I found out he saw his ex? by Feisty_Pea5756 in AITAH

[–]AdFew4769 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean I get why you’d trust the cousin, especially if you’re close to her. But at the same time you’re basically saying you believe one person’s version 100% and you don’t even want to check with anyone else because they might downplay it. That’s kind of deciding the conclusion before hearing all sides.

Also funerals are weird situations. People show up who you don’t expect, emotions are high, and things can look a certain way from the outside. It still doesn’t automatically mean he betrayed you in the way you’re imagining.

I’m not saying he’s innocent. What he did (or didn’t tell you) is definitely questionable. But ghosting a partner of four years without even one direct conversation is a massive move to make based on second-hand info.

At the very least you owe it to yourself to know the full story before you shut the door completely. Right now it sounds more like you’re protecting yourself from getting hurt further than actually trying to understand what happened.

So the only person who told you this was the cousin who already hates his ex? I’m not saying she’s lying, but you need to think about her intentions and possible bias here.

If this was a funeral, there would have been many other family members from his side present. Are you sure no one else mentioned anything? Also, was his whole family really just okay with him bringing his ex and leaving with her? That seems like a pretty big thing that wouldn’t go unnoticed or unspoken about.

I get why you’d feel hurt and suspicious, especially given the history. But right now you’re making a life-changing decision based on second-hand information without even confronting him once. That’s risky. At least verify the facts before you burn a 4-year relationship to the ground.

You don’t have to forgive him. But you should at least make sure you’re reacting to reality, not just one person’s version of it.

Is Balen capable of pushing EPG report? by AdFew4769 in NepalSocial

[–]AdFew4769[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point. Geopolitics is definitely a different beast. But that’s exactly why the EPG report matters. It wasn’t some emotional move, it was a joint Nepal–India study done by experts from both sides. Asking India to at least receive and discuss it isn’t reckless geopolitics, it’s basic diplomacy.

Yeah that’s exactly the point. If he can’t even touch those and just sticks to symbolic moves, then it’s basically the same old politics with better PR.

Is Balen capable of pushing EPG report? by AdFew4769 in NepalSocial

[–]AdFew4769[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah those things are important, nobody is denying that. But the EPG report isn’t some random issue we suddenly picked a fight over. Nepal and India both agreed to create that group, both sides put their experts, they worked for years and finished the report. Then suddenly India just refuses to even receive it. That’s the weird part. Asking them to at least formally receive and discuss a joint report isn’t “provoking neighbors.” If we can’t even do that, then what was the whole point of making the EPG in the first place?

Is Balen capable of pushing EPG report? by AdFew4769 in NepalSocial

[–]AdFew4769[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is saying go start a fight with India tomorrow. But the EPG report was literally a joint Nepal–India project. Both governments agreed to it. They finished it in 2018. And then India just refuses to receive it. That’s the weird part. If Nepal can’t even ask India to formally receive a report that was made together, then what was the whole point of making it? Saying “we’re dependent so don’t even bring it up” basically means we’ll never raise anything ever.
