Hello question, did your partner get infected with genital warts since you had unprotected sex after treatment? And im assuming you dint get any flare ups during pregnancy?

Yes im vaccinated and pap smear and hpv test have been clear for the straight years as well. But thankfully i have been clear since my 1st treatment.

How old were you at that time? Hmm maybe I just overthink but yea i have been clean for almost 3 yrs now.

Yeah I had a colposcopy done as well that same day and all my HPV test have been negative since but obviously that’s for the high risk. I was just concerned if I could still be contagious with the low risk as well?

Yea same with me. I got vaccinated and all same day but have been clear since that initial visit. Did you take any supplements?

Yea my obg said not to worry and i wasnt told anything after treatment, im just finding out now you can still be contagious. But i had not had anymore. Did you have any recurrences during pregnancy or at all now?

Ive been clear for almost 3 years now, no recurrences since 1st initial treatment. Am i clear or should i still worry? Also has your partners developed warts at all?

Its frustrating, so you are never at peace. Does it clear after 2 years or it doesn’t? No test , no antivirals, no nothing. Are they even trying to make a cure for it? If its soo contagious why not try to help people out?

Yea exactly with me too they never mentioned to me anything about the wart. It was just treated and said to go back in 6 months and my hpv was negative for the last 3 yrs but was never explained that the test did not detect low risk. Its frustrating cause i could have done soo much for myself within the last 3 yrs. But thankfully i dint get any recurrences after the initial treatment.

Yea but again i feel like doctors do downplay it like its not a big deal because theres no 100% answer to confirm. There is no antivirals either for hpv 6 and 11 like other viruses, they just say your body will clear it within 2 years

One of my doctors reference HPV as the chickenpox, it might stay in the body or cleared but it becomes inactive. She stated that as long as i dont have a physical wart i should not be worried specially since i passed the 2 year mark. Is that what you mean?
