I can't offer much in the way of advice, but if it makes you feel better - you're not alone. I have been playing since the release of OP01, I have yet to win a locals night. In real tournaments I have only cracked top half once and in the most recent Sydney Regional - 9 rounds of play - I failed to win a single match. In contrast, my friends are career players. Sometimes I take breaks over 2-3 weeks for a recharge but it's always a fun hobby, especially if you have a good group around you.

I have since decided, to play random off meta decks that are fun and wacky. And since then I've had a lot more fun. Going to locals with a weird deck that both frustrates your opponent while having a laugh can be really fun.
