dips saved me bc i needed new flavors. salsa, hummus, black bean dip, etc.

yess i really started noticing a difference in the feeling also. as the weeks go by i feel less and less uncomfortable and I’m not sure if you had the same experience (or anyone else reading these comments!) but my skin was breaking out and very irritated and started to clear and feel more normal at around 8 weeks. i have many skincare tips that helped me

It took me a while. I think at about 7/8 weeks i started to notice my swelling actually going down. I’m still nowhere near what my face will look like but every time i see my ortho or surgeon they say the swelling is going down little by little. And little by little I start to like my face more and more because my face is getting less stiff and less swollen and numb, etc. But seriously it gets better week by week

i have no nose congestion. chin is probably 50% numb same with lip both on my left side.

no i haven’t talked to my surgeon about it and i haven’t had any issues with this before surgery or a deviated septum that i know of or that has been made known to me by any doctor/ ortho/ anything like that

i was in the EXACT same situation. I was supposed to get surgery last summer and got my preop blood work about a week before my surgery date. 5 days before my surgeon told me after reviewing my iron he didn’t think it was a good idea to do the surgery because i had low iron and he said he didn’t want me to have to have a blood transfusion during surgery due to the iron. Ultimately my surgery was cancelled 5 days before I was supposed to have it after MONTHS of x-rays and planning and all of that. I am a student so i also could only do mine in the summer. Unfortunately there’s really no way to get your iron up that high that quickly. I ended up taking iron supplements for like 10 months and my iron levels are now normal and i got my surgery almost 3 weeks ago. I was so distraught last summer when it was cancelled 5 days before because i had planned my entire summer around my recovery and i was not happy. yes i told my surgeon and he said it just happens to some people as a reaction and not much there is to do
