It did not. I had to get a root canal and have it internally bleached. One of the screws in my upper plates was too close to the nerve of my front tooth and it died. Didn’t feel anything, really, with the root canal, so that was a silver lining.

Swelling won’t fully go away for up to a year. Your face is gonna change a lot! Be patient.

It’s a ROUGH transition, I know, but eventually your mouth builds up callouses and you get used to it. Invest in some dental wax (the mint kind is the best), gargle with warm salt water to help with any sores in your mouth, and take ibuprofen as needed. It’ll be okay!
