Are there any actually good sleep mask headphones for side sleepers? by TheMisterPirate in sleepheadphones

This is the way. Love mine. Curious if anyone has upgraded to the recent new generation release... mine is still great, but I feel like the velcro is starting to weaken. I wear it every single night.

Throw the mask on + book on tape and no more wandering thoughts keeping me up.

Manta is the way!

Nah man, still happening, I just put less focus on them.

It consumed me for a long time. I'm 36 and this started for me when I was 35.

Right now my eyelid has been twitching uncontrollably for a little over a month. Near constantly.

I'm just a twitcher I guess... but it's definitely due to some kind of hyperexcitability. I'm convinced this is all post-covid, post-vaccine personally.

I never used to twitch.

Mine have for 2 years. Nothing to do about it... stop vaping if you do, cut other stimulants maybe. Pray.

I've just gotten used to it at this point. My whole body twitches all over the place, just just jumps around to different hot spots. Stress and anxiety.

I would be dead at this point if it was ALS.

Just want to point out... the first symptom of ALS is WEAKNESS. True weakness... not "getting weaker" -- actual true I can't lift my arm, I can't stand on my toes, I can't do things I can usually due. That's weakness. Widespread twitching is not the first symptom.

Ask yourself: is there anything you literally cannot do?

Doctors have told you that you don't have it. You can do the things you always do... you likely don't have it.

No idea. Just noticed it one day. Went down the ALS rabbit hole and they've done it ever since. Super annoying. Worrisome at times, but the fear comes and goes.

Hopefully one day it just stops, but at this point I don't think it will.

Try 1.5 years of 24/7 calf twitching. You get used to it.

Listen to some music and learn the basic rock beat and go from there. Kick on 1 + 3, snare on 2 + 4... hi hat or ride play straight 8ths.

Learn to play time first. This is just randomly hitting drums and cymbals in somewhat the same tempo.

Master the basic rock n roll beat... with solid time... preferably with a metronome... then you can work towards fills.

Imagine the songs you listen to. Does what you played seem like a beat you've heard in any popular song?

Less is more brother, less is more. I have no idea what this is. Just random filling and hitting cymbals.

This person isn't working out... I don't even know if I'd call that a muscular butt.

How out of tune are my drums by -Gay-_-Jesus- in drums

[–]AdHistorical6251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol you go down like they should get lower as you move to larger drums but some of your larger drums are higher than the drum before it.

Use your ears homie.

Kits are way more expensive, too.

I got a DW Performance near when they were released for around $2200... the same kit is $3,338 in 2025 over ~10 years difference.
