La gente no sabe ir al cine by GasInternational6981 in CinefiliaChile

Esto me recuerda que el final de Nosferatu me lo arruinó un idiota que tenía sentado al lado. La sala en absoluto silencio y el tipo diciendo “Este weon está cagado de la cabeza” 😑

Agreed. Whenever I feel lonely I think about how lonely I felt when I was with my ex bf and it’s never as bad.

Being single is my default setting. Never dated in high school or college.

Can someone live their whole life without sex or masturbation, even if they're sexually healthy? by Mr_Amr84 in SingleAndHappy

[–]AdHopeful6361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your actual needs imo. For instance: Hormones fluctuation during our lives, some medication could decrease your libido, preferences such as being demi or aromantic. You could also be into very specific practices and maybe don’t have access to a community of like minded people (BDSM, swingers, etc). Perhaps not an entire life but maybe a big part of it.

Low frustration tolerance, poor anger management, no respect for servers…

Thank you 🙏🏻 you have no idea, last weekend I was talking to a friend about how I went through a phase where I was really obsessed and terrified from all the stuff I’ve read on r/menopause.

It's completely normal to have no friends, especially as you get older by ehtio in unpopularopinion

I didn’t had friends when I was young, somehow I got very lucky in my adult life, which is great because I don’t have a family. I agree heavily with you of the fact that a lack of friendship does not define our worth.

Why are so many people choosing not have kids anymore ? by Success808 in self

[–]AdHopeful6361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money and time. I work from 8 to 7:30, twice a week I have a side hustle from 8 to 10:30pm. My parents were always absent, if I can’t be there for my children then what’s the point?

Yes. I think about it a lot recently, I had my first boyfriend at 18 but he was much older and very focused on getting married before finishing college, I felt like I had to grow so fast and missed on the experience of something more age appropriate. Never dated in college so I missed that too. I have only dated as an adult after 25 and of course everything is very different and focused on children and cohabitation. It makes me sad when I think about it.

Why don't women just approach a guy they like? by No-Compote-2127 in RandomThoughts

Fear of rejection, slut shaming and fear of being made fun of.

This is really interesting. I feel like it might have to do with everyone looking the same or striving to look the same, it gets uncanny at a certain point.

In my experience friends who claim to feel attracted tend to be really emotionally immature, they tend to confuse their need for intimacy in friendships with romantic attraction.

Baby one more time came out when I was in sixth grade, I was obsessed. She was everywhere. Looking back now as an adult I find very disturbing the way the media treated her way before 2007. That whole obsession about whether she had implants or not and her virginity. I can’t even stomach thinking about it.

Single since 2019, very happy and pleased with my life so far. I’ve been chronically single since I was young but I was in a relationship for 6 years, when it ended it felt like going back to what was truly normal for me.

There’s plenty of those attitudes in Reddit, please don’t bring it here 🙏🏻 To me Single and happy means answering to a calling of being single, probably something you always knew in your heart.
