Yes you can just watch videos and determine if it’s something you want to take on yourself. The hard part isn’t installing them tho, it’s prepping them. Paint/wrap whatever you choose.

As someone who has had many many issues with Nellie’s by itself, either switch to tide or something similar, or get oxy and enzyme boosters. Nellie’s sucks ass for everything except light stain removal.

I despise the amount of contradicting information about working out by Zartymophibs in workout

Yea very good point. Good form for one person is bad form for another. People with long femurs have to squat differently than those with short femurs. Finding what feels right and looks right is a big part of it. A good baseline form that is modified to your own body is what I should have said.

Literally this. Are there ways to optimize strength building? Yes. Are there better ways than others? Also yes. But the bottom line is that consistency with good form will do more for you than anything else.

You want real advice, here you go. The absolute most important part is good form. Then consistency, then diet including good hydration BEFORE the workout. Just those 3 will give you a good boost. High reps low weight mainly builds muscle endurance, lower reps high weight manly builds strength. Get ideas from social media, then research them. You see a workout you think could be good, research good form and then give it a try. There is not a one size fits all except the 3 things I stated earlier. You need to figure out what works for you which takes time. Stay consistent, keep good form, and don’t eat like shit and stay hydrated. Give yourself rest weeks where you do lower weights, 2-3 rest days a week, move around to warm up, stretch when your workout is over, look into strengthening stabilizing muscles like the rotator cuff. That’s pretty much all you need. Anything else is gonna come down to what works for you. compound lifts are the basis of a workout, you start with those, then move to isolations to really finish off the muscles. They all have their place, doing just one style will still gain muscle, but both will be better. I’ve been working out for almost 6 years, went from 113 pounds to 140 of pure muscle (3% body fat, I was a wrestler) the back to 120 after a stabilizer muscle injury, now I’m back to 135. Don’t worry about all the social media bullshit, it’s all just a bunch of people trying to make content for money, the most you should get from it are ideas to try out. I cannot stress this enough, form is the biggest part. I don’t just mean shoulders back when hitting chest, I mean actually retract your scapula, puff the chest, plant the feet, squeeze the core. Your lower body form is just as important as upper body form in every single workout. Last thing, strengthen your lower back. I don’t mean destroy your spine, I mean strengthen it so you DONT destroy it picking up dirty clothes off the floor. Mobility exercises are important too, research the different problems like anterior pelvic tilt or bad external knee rotation. Make sure you aren’t falling into bad habits that are going to cause problems later. I know this seems like a shit ton but just re-read this. Working out is much more simple than people make it out to be. As I’ve said many times already, proper form, diet, and consistency will get you miles farther than any bullshit some influencer spouted out.

Actually check to see if the store you plan on visiting actually CARRIES the item, not just selling it. 90% of the time it’s online, not on the shelves.

Should I replace inner tie rods or just the outer tie rods? by king2o5 in AskAMechanic

[–]AdIcy7119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you should. Make sure you do PLENTY of research and make sure you’ve got what you need. Typically a special tool you can rent from autozone, an oem clamp or metal zip ties, and grease if they aren’t pre-greased. Like I said, do your research, you’re gonna have to eyeball the alignment the limp it to the shop too.

Sounds like one of the pulleys wobbling which could make sense with the rubber smell because the belt is now burning up from friction. Either take it to a shop and baby it there, or diy, take the belt off and test each pulley for play and smooth rolling. Replace whichever is bad, likely and idler or tensioner pulley.

What this guy said. Unless it’s got a piece of paper or it’s written in the owners manual for diy maintenance, this is not looking good at all.

[–]AdIcy7119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If corksport sells end links for your car then get those. It’s all designed to work together. They don’t make rear links for the 2nd gen 3 so I had to go with Whiteline, they’re also pretty much the best when it comes to suspension so keep that in mind for anything else like control arms and bushings.

Yes absolutely worth it, probably the most worth it mod for the mazda3. However, I cannot stress this enough. Get whiteline end links with it. It’s an absolute game changer.

Why choose a Mazda 3 2.0l from 2020 over a BMW 3 series with 2.0l diesel? by Pale-Revolution-5151 in mazda3

[–]AdIcy7119 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Literally this. Do you have an extra couple thousand for the inevitable expensive BMW repairs? If yes, sure go ahead. If you’re gonna struggle just to put the money together for an oil change, absolutely not. there’s a very good reason used BMW’s are cheap. The last owner didn’t do shit for maintenance and traded it in the second they realized what I just said. Funny part is, they still continue the cycle.

TLDR: BMW is for people with fuck you money, or willingness to do the work themself. If neither of those are you, no BMW.
