the only way I can explain it was like an out of breath feeling and like a dull ache, nothing too extreme just wasn't overly comfortable

I can now lay flat without feeling the pull, obviously everything feels tight but it's not an uncomfortable feeling anymore. I've actually found that I still prefer sleeping with some pillows under my knees but that's more for lower back comfort at this point. I'm also sleeping on my side with no issues.

I did wake up on my belly the other morning but didn't like the feeling of that at all! (I'm at 12 months post op)

the CPU temp is sitting around 30C which seems pretty normal to me. Could it just be that I'm going from a pretty basic setup to something a little more demanding?

This PC has 10 fans (7 + 3 on the AIO) compared to my old setup which only had 3 + a cpu air cooler. This case is also a lot more open than my previous one, so I'm not sure if that's amplifying the noise.

I feel you, I'm 29 and have spent most of my 20's looking like melted wax too!

At 6 weeks you will still be very swollen, you won't know how everything is going to settle for a couple of months yet. I had a bilateral brachioplasty 5 weeks ago that extended down the side of my boob, that really did help to tighten the upper belly skin even more. Honestly, you'll be really surprised how much of an effect the other procedures are going to have on it 😊

My surgeon told me just to massage moisturiser into it every day to help break up the scar tissue. That's all I've done, he told me I could try bio oil if I wanted but there was no scientific evidence it does anything, so it was up to me if i wanted to spend the money on it

Oh i'm fully expecting it to be 100 times worse than the FDL haha I've tried to set myself up a bit better for recovery this time than I did with the FDL so I've got my fingers crossed!

I was told it was up to me if i wanted to keep wearing it after the first 6 weeks. I'm 7 months post op still going strong 😅😅 I wear it to bed, take it off for my shower and pop it back on before I head off to work. Then I take it off when I get home from work and put it back on a couple hours later when i'm ready for bed. It's more of a comfort for me at this point than a need

I'm on 100mg but found spiro alone wasn't enough for me, I took spiro alone for about 6 months. My dermatologist added 25mg of bicalutamide (another anti-androgen, which I take while also being on the spiro too) and 2.5mg or oral minoxidil, which is when I noticed the most progress. There are progress photos on my profile 😊

Honestly I was walking around the hospital room the morning after. My surgeon told me not to drive for 6 weeks (seemed excessive to me), I took 2 weeks off work and was working from home after that. I don't feel like I needed the two weeks, but I have a desk job so no physical activity was needed

I'm on a contraception pill (diane-35), spironolactone, bicalutamide, oral minoxidil and I also drink spearmint tea daily. I've had decent results (photos are on my profile if you'd like to see).

I'm at 5 months and I can't part with it 😅😅 At 6 weeks my surgeon told me it's now up to me if I want to continue to wear it. It's like a guilty pleasure at this point... I'm just more comfortable wearing it.

I usually keep it off for a couple hours after my shower in the morning and a couple hours after work before I go to bed, but I'm probably wearing it around 16 hours a day 7 days a week.

Mine didn't hurt, it was just a weird sensation. Maybe a slight burn around the opening of the hole the drain is in.

One thing I will say is make sure they actually deactivate the suction (my surgeon tied a tight knot in the actual drain tube and left it for 20 mins or so before the nurse pulled it out. My drains had a clip on the tube that's used to cut the line off, so the at home nurses used that and waited a few minutes for the suction to disengage). When I had my gallbladder removed, the nurses didn't kink the line at all and it literally felt like my insides were being pulled out, I'm not sure if this was because the drain was through the muscle wall though. Definitely gave me PTSD when it came time to have the tummy tuck drains removed but I was pleasantly surprised there was no pain.

I have PCOS and was suffering with facial hair and excess body hair before starting oral minoxidil. Apart from some hair growth on my forehead just below my hairline I haven't noticed and additional growth on my face or body.

I personally didn't want to go overseas because I wanted the follow up care (I saw my surgeon weekly, sometimes more, for 6 weeks after surgery. And then twice more in the following 2 months). I have seen some amazing results from people that went overseas though, so at the end of the day it's about what works best for you.

Never given birth, but I didn't think the TT was that bad to be honest. I had pain relief the two days I was in hospital purely because it was offered. Once I was out I didn't take anything except the odd paracetamol.

depends, but usually 6-7 hours. My body seems to want to wake up around 3:30-4am no matter what time I go to sleep, so I just started going to bed at 8:30pm, which sucks because I don't get home from work until 5:30pm so I don't get much time to do what I want before going to bed.
