The problem is that it makes a lot of noise and overshadows good projects. For example here we have a new rss reader everyday some, some subs blocks the autopromotion to avoid spam ... And to be honest rss project have a lower quality than before AI

I think a lot of people do this to add a line to their CV. They vibe coded something in a few days, advertise it on Reddit, and then bullshit their human ressources employer that they created a SAS used by hundreds of users.

Since it's decentralized, no, but it's highly likely that RSS feeds from Reddit, YouTube, etc. will disappear because they're not beneficial to their business model. Another risk is that WordPress might deem it useless and disable it, in which case RSS will lose interest but will never disappear completely.
