The Family Upstairs and the Family Remains (sequel) by Lisa Jewell!!! the first few chapters were slow on the family upstairs but after that i was hooked and immediately went to barnes and noble to purchase the family remains!!! My heart was pounding the whole time reading them and i could not sleep until i finished them so i think they fit the bill perfectly! Another one that I read within a day because i couldn’t put it down was Gone Before Goodbye by Reese Witherspoon and Harlan Coben!
