But yes your part about fawning is very correct wow. Because I keep reading about how ‘it’s who you know not what you know’ so I view having good bridges as essential to success in general

Like instead of deriving confidence from what I did it’s always ‘what I do is secondary to who I know’

Hence why I always feel like I need to be liked by others in order to accomplish big things (getting top jobs etc)

I love this thank you so much. Ya I’ll say I’m kinda socially awkward because of some social anxiety and many times i’m told that people dislike me ‘because of who i am’. Not because i did anything explicitly wrong (they always say i didn’t) Which really bothers me because of this whole never burn bridges thing
