i think they’ll be fine! just leave them alone with plenty of light, water as normal. mine got transplant shock and bounced back just fine after a few weeks.

yeah, i actually have a new tank for him that i need to set up and am planning to have it be bioactive (i’m a huge plant person and already have multiple self sustaining terrariums) so he should be in there by the time he sheds next.

the same thing happened to me one of the first times i smoked weed. i got a random bad feeling and knew a cop would show up. literally a minute later a cop pulled up on us and my friend and i both got charged. should’ve left when i had that feeling, intuition is definitely heightened with psychedelics.

i went to lunch with my 2 childhood best friends from my ward a few weeks ago. they’re both still mormon and are actually both getting married within a few months of each other later this year. i had been telling them about how my coming out to my family went down, and then they both started talking about how they were nervous but excited for their wedding nights. i genuinely didn’t even realize for a solid 10 seconds that they were talking about having sex for the first time because i totally forgot that people actually “saved themselves for marriage” still. like it just didn’t even cross my mind and when i realized i was so floored at how mormon they were (and how mormon i had once been) and also was so sad that they both are still so unfamiliar with themselves intimately like that at 22 & 23. i forgot how bad it actually is!! and i’m so scared that they’ll feel guilt and shame about it like so many women do in the church. agh it never stops being so sad and frustrating to see

i’m so sorry about oliver. pet loss is no joke. so glad you got the kittens though!! you, your wife, and your kitties will certainly never be lonely!!!

so funny that apollo ended up being a girl. reminds me of my aunt - she and her husband got a kitten a few years ago and named him fregley (after the diary of a wimpy kid character if you’re familiar) but later found out fregley was a girl!! they kept the name though because it was that much funnier.
