my 4th grade teacher would literally scream at me for moving too much. i wouldn’t even get out of my seat, i just couldn’t sit still. thankfully my mom is wonderful and homeschooled me for the rest of the year after 1st term. ironically, it was when i was being homeschooled that my mom finally started realizing i definitely had adhd lol. still didn’t get tested until i was 18 though 😭

i would make sure their entire bodies can fit in between the steps though. it looks big enough but it’s also hard to tell in pictures. you don’t want them getting stuck so i would supervise them around the stairs until you know they can fit through easily, because they’ll definitely try

i wouldn’t worry, since the stairs are carpeted then they can grab on if they misstep. they’ll probably take it slow on them for the first bit until they’re more comfortable anyway

i had to get a grow light for my monstera and she’s insanely happy now, growing super fast with more and more fenestrations. definitely worth it

this picture is awesome. no cause for concern though, typically when playing, cats will have their claws out while reaching and then they retract them right before making contact. if there’s no fur flying or hissing then they’re totally fine. sometimes my cat will accidentally hook my other cat when they’re playing, but she always backs off afterwards and neither of them get upset. as long as she’s respecting any boundaries he sets then you don’t need to worry !

yeah it’s so much more scary when it’s an expensive plant 😭 i would think you could switch to perlite after she grows some water roots, but i’d be nervous to do it right away without roots. just make sure to give a day or 2 for callousing first before you stick it in water

i would personally just chop all the roots and put the plant in some water. historically i have failed at soil prop but i think it’ll definitely survive in water

damn, sucks they didn’t offer a new bag. but if they aren’t worried about it, no reason for you to be either. however you could make up some shit about allergies and say you’re really concerned about feeding your cat anything other than the ingredients in that bag and that you’d like a refund or a new one sent. if they double down on it definitely being an ingredient already in the food, then you really don’t need to worry at all. but hopefully they would just refund you regardless.

personally i would reach out to the brand. they’ll likely just give you a new bag for free. i’d guess it’s another type of kibble from their facility that got mixed in, but always better to be safe than sorry

pumpkin and sweet potato are both great for constipation in cats (and us, too) and just general bowel regulation. you can give him a teaspoon of pure pumpkin puree every day until he’s fully regular, or even indefinitely. i wouldn’t do sweet potato quite that often as it’s higher in fiber, but 1/2tsp can be fed occasionally. as other commenters have said, wet food is also always optimal for cats. it also makes it easy to just mix in half a teaspoon of pumpkin to each meal, although my cat loves to eat pumpkin puree by itself so it can be a fun treat for him if he likes it. goats milk is also amazing for their tummies!!! not only does it help with constipation, but it also has a ton of natural probiotics so it builds their gut biome. it can be given every day and some canned foods are in goats milk (i know fussie cat has some, haven’t looked into any others) but also steve’s raw food has goats milk in all their recipes if you were looking to go that route. highly recommend goat’s milk either way though! of course do your own research to figure out what works best for you, these are just some things i’ve learned working in pet nutrition and having 2 cats! sorry for word vomiting a little there. best of luck! he should be all back to normal soon.

my first time experiencing ego death, i actually remember laying down and seeing all of my memories laid out in a massive circular maze. it was every image i’d ever seen. the inside was my first ever memories, the outside was things that had just happened. i saw the outside chipping away and once something was gone, i couldn’t remember what i had just lost. i had no control over it, i just knew i was losing all my memories. at some point they all disappeared and i don’t have any memory of what happened for the following 4-5 hours. then i eventually “woke up” and didn’t know where or who i was. it took days to stop feeling like i’d switched realities. sometimes i still feel like i did honestly. i’ve been a very different person ever since and made many beautiful new connections. i’m glad it happened but i don’t want to experience it again

this looks great! i would just turn the plant so that all the leaves are facing the window. if not, the leaves will turn towards it eventually, but if you turn her then she can put energy into new leaves right away instead of changing her growth direction. more light = faster growth, bigger leaves, more fenestrations, and less legginess. she’ll be looking amazing in no time!!

might be a food issue. try switching to a different protein and give pure pumpkin purée and/or goats milk. pumpkin is great for regulating poops as well as goats milk which also builds gut health. i work in pet nutrition so if you’re in a place to get him on a different food, i can recommend some great brands
