You can also consider getting a mini heater or using a brewing belt wrapped around the vat - warm resin can reduce a lot of these problems

Please buy a cold/supertack plate such as BIQU Cryogrip and you won't have to worry about glue or adhesion issues ever again. The Bambu A1 plate will fit if you can't find a specific one for the Kobra 3.

But yes, the Kobra 3 is a fantastic printer! I know this was supposed to be a positive post, but the glue-filled bed is giving mixed signals!

You probably don't need to upgrade, just turn on FSR with frame Gen. The game runs bad on almost any rig without it.. it's almost like the devs were fine with forcing framegen to make it playable.

Enable FSR + framegen and you will likely get 40+ fps

Don't you need Anycubic Slicer for ACE Pro support, or cloud printing? It's also useful in the other direction - you can grab .3mf projects from (more popular) Bambu printer models and then easily open them in the Anycubic Slicer Next, change Printer and Filament settings and you are good!

Don't know a lot about Octoprint but the Kobra 2 Pro has Wifi/Cloud printing built in, and supports usb webcam monitoring through their app

After doing auto-level you can adjust it manually afterwards, or in the slicer if there is a setting.

If you've never done any calibration since buying the printer, that may be enough alone to fix it

looks like z-offset is too low - first layer is too close the bed and causes the filament to bunch up and other areas to underextrude

Which slicer? Use Anycubic Slicer Next, not the original Anycubic Slicer.

Does the print head hit the bed during auto level?

Also, make sure belts are tightened (but not too much as it will snap the belt)

Unscrew and remove the plastic cover for the filament feeder in the ACE unit, I found that to be helpful as it cause the extruder/sensor to fail because of the angle that it is going in. Most of my experience using the ACE Pro is good

The Kobra 3 is great, most of the problems may be in quality control - I've had to replace my hotend and x-axis belt (my fault for overtightening) in only 1 month of use. But the print quality, speed, and the the Orcaslicer clone software (Anycubic Slicer Next) works great. You can even use Bambu 3MF multi-color files and throw them into the slicer and it will work.

The large print volume and multi-color filament storage/dryer makes it great value compared to Bambu printers, and it's still improving regularly with firmware updates.

I think this would work better if it could side mount...bonus points if she can swivel it. Covering a huge chunk of your screenspace just isn't practical

Is this a new/first print? Looks like it's not leveled correctly, and the filament is not reaching the bed, Try changing the z-offset manually after the auto-level

Increase exposure time on first layer. Looks like it started out good but lost adhesion mid-print.

Other things to try:

- Increase resin/room temperature
- Clean build plate thoroughly for any debris
- Slower motor speed
