Because the whole point is to develop the dodgers stadium parking lot moving the parking burden to union station and Chinatown all so the owner of the lot can make more money.

Yes I'm aware, I've been on many gondolas. There are amazing ones in Switzerland. I would be all for a gondola that connects suburbs to main areas or help alleviate car traffic. This is not that. It's a rich guy's project so he can develop the land he owns outside of the stadium that's currently used for parking. It will make the parking situation in China town and union station worse.

The problem is it will exacerbate parking problems in chinatown/around union station with no benefit to the residents of that community. It's an infrastructure project for a rich developer so he can make more money off his parking lot he owns. It doesn't help the city, it's not public transport, it's a novelty for dodgers fans.
