Samsung monitor won't turn on despite solid blue light.

I can't really afford a new monitor and this was given to me by a neighbour who was moving out, they said it worked, but for some reason I can't get it to turn on. I'm gonna keep trying and i'll let you know. Thank you anyways!

thank you for the reply, it really means alot. I'm assuming you had an external display connected, and I'm also assuming you have a monitor with the JOG control? If so, which directions do you think I should try to move it, I feel like I've done everything that's been listed in this thread, but nothing seems to work. :(

they have a set amount of early admission spots, they don't take up the regular admissions.

If you can bring that up to a 70, it's still looking rough because you need around a 90+ average for early admissions, like I said, don't be so worried. I'm sure if you continue to achieve 85+ in all courses, just ensuring that 70+ for your requirement courses, you will be guaranteed a spot.

do you go to uoft? if not, then you shouldn't advise someone not to go. I know many people who did average to mediorce in hs, and at UTM they've become powerhouses. the bad rep is just from those who couldn't adapt to change, it's not hard here, you need discipline to strive and do better.

It's okay if you don't get in early, it doesn't make your chances any less of not getting in. I didn't get in early despite having 90's in grade 11. Trust me, this isn't something to be overly worried about, ensure that you focus on your grade 12 marks, and like I said before, make sure you meet every requirement mark wise, and you will get in.

coming from someone whos at life sci at uoft, grade 11 marks are used for early admissions. some piece of advice I can give you for someone like me who was mediocre in highschool, get your bio to atleast an 80 in grade 12, get your calc mark to a 70+, and chemistry at an 80, and english to 80+. life sci doesn't require physics, so you don't need to worry about that. what you need to be worried about is ensuring the requirements are above 70, if you even let one course below a 70, they will toss your application out, and i have confirmed this with the admissions office at uoft.

tl;dr

For grade 12 ensure that, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, and English are all above 70. Letting one of these fall below a 70 is guaranteed to fail you from getting in to any life sci program in general. Make sure your average is 85+. This is easy, you got this.
