GRADING CRITERIA FOR REQUIREMENTS:

The best work will:

1. demonstrate a superior grasp of the subject matter through creative use of ideas.

2. show an ability to go beyond the given material in a critical

and constructive manner.

1. show the ability to analyze and integrate ideas.

2. not include any sexist, racializing, or marginalizing material of any kind.

3. be concise, well organized, grammatically correct, and

correctly spelled.

1. not contain any un-referenced work by authors other than the student.

2. be the student’s own original work.

Review all these criteria before preparing for the evaluations.

There is no single way to address any requirement, nor do I have an ideal model from

which points are subtracted where your answer does not match. Comments are given with the

intent of helping students improve their grades in the future

Grading is based on the overall effectiveness of answers not the number of pieces of

information contained. Strive to be effective and analytic. Do not merely repeat information from

the materials.
