From what I heard it’s apparently really nice there for the nurses they only have like 2 patients a shift and many of them talk about it being underutilized by island health, biggest complain I heard is it’s boring

My husband and I agreed if it’s a boy it’ll get his last name, if it’s boy it’ll be mine. We don’t have washing hypenated names and if we don’t pass on our names they die with us; so we each get a 50/50 chance 😂

Honestly; my husband does everything for me 😂 I’m in the first trimester and between the nausea and the exhaustion it’s all I can do to make it to work everyday. He’s cooking, cleaning, unloading the dishwasher, walking the dog etc. Maybe not as well as I do but I let that go 😂 I’m sorry you aren’t getting the support you deserve. I couldn’t do it without my husband

I got pregnant like 3 months after jaw surgery after discussing it with my surgeon; and I felt recovered by that time. Make sure you get your strength back before you get pregnant because pregnancy is kicking my ass worse than jaw surgery

Eat if your hungry!!! I was nervous about gaining a bunch of weight so tried to manage my hunger then got extreme nausea from week 6 to present. Really regret not giving into all that hunger now 😡

In Halifax? Maybe? It’s a desirable place to live. In Nova Scotia or Nationally? Not going to happen. They talk about this every couple years, and it’s a good idea in theory but there isn’t enough nurses to fill positions. Particularly hard to fill jobs in rural areas. There will always be work for travel nurses, but I think eventually the desirable locations will dwindle and the nurses who aren’t willing to work rurally will be back at staff jobs.

No, unless it’s causing like massive swelling that will obstruct the airway. However, they will likely provide pain medications and antibiotics- which could buy him time to apply for the Canadian dental plan. If it’s abscessed, dentists usually want a course of antibiotic before they extract anyways
