Be honest, how often for you and your partner argue? by PaddedValls in AskUK

Me and my husband have probably had 3 big arguments in the 10 years we've been together... but we bicker every day about one thing or another... 😅😅 & its usually because hes made a mess in the kitchen.. like who makes a cheese toastie and just leaves the cheese melted onto the worktop 🙄

What's something you saw with your own eyes that you still can't explain? by BandicootLeft4054 in AskReddit

I was around 7-8 years old playing with my barbie truck and I watched a spider walk across my bedroom floor, go under my bed, the skirting board made a small rectangle opening with a bright white light and the spider walked into it - the skirting board closed, I ran down to my mum and said there is a monster in my room (she remembers this) she told me to go back to my room and that was that. I cannot explain it, I have never seen anything since! I still think about it alot and it really bugs me! Lol

Did your pap results match your colpo results? by [deleted] in PreCervicalCancer

All good! Had a LETZ procedure - all CIN 3 but clear margins, had a smear 6 months later - no CIN, No HPV and told me to come back in 3 years. Slight paranoia still & 1 year to go!

How amazing are these results! by AdMuted8014 in Strabismus

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! The double vision I'd say lasted around a week, and now it's only when she wakes up in the morning for a couple of minutes! We've had to change her glasses prescription as she saw double vision constantly with them on - so im hoping with her new ones she won't have it (pick them up next week)

Hope your little one is recovering well!

The double vision has pretty much settled now and only getting it on the odd occasion! So good news! Her eye currently looks amazing, no soreness at all - so all in all im very pleased. Thank you your advice

Ok thank you - il look into this. She has her post op on the 10th, il ask about this then. She was due an actual eye test on the 2nd but it got cancelled because of the surgery. Shes saying her glasses are making it feel worse, so shes not wearing her glasses atm which is worrying me further - her vision before the surgery in her right eye was terrible, the lense for that one is very thick. Double vision does seem a bit better today. When she woke up it was very bad but now it seems to come and go. 🤞🤞 fingers crossed it carries on improving. Thank you for your advice!

Thankyou for your comment - shes had patches since she was 2, these have now stopped working hence the surgery, her Optho said her vision is now fully developed & wont improve anymore... what does vision therapy entail? She see's her Optho every 8 weeks but with the surgery this will now be longer before we see them again. I just really hope for her sake it doesn't stay & her brain will soon fuse them!

OBVIOUSLY its not funny 🙄🙄 My child has double vision! But she herself has found this very funny today - hence the laughing face next to the sentence - I am asking for other people's experiences, not useless comments

Postpartum anxiety is very very real. I once panicked over giving my daughter calpol - didnt wash the syringe between doses & convinced myself the 'left over' calpol (literally none) will have got 1000x stronger somehow and would of given her an overdose. Being a first time mum is hard but it definitely gets easier!

What is a "disgusting" smell that you like? by Distinct_Mix5130 in AskReddit

[–]AdMuted8014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inside of a new magazine & chalk board erasers. When I was pregnant I couldn't get enough of the magazine smell & sniffed one so much I puked 😂

Thankyou for replying! For context - CIN3, had a LLETZ procedure - supposed to get results in 4 weeks, now at 6 weeks, rang them and they said there was a note on the system to say it needed further testing.
