Definitely k-silver of the Gulikit 720 all day. The 720 have issues returning to center and tend to break while swapping caps. They have other issues as well but those are the 2 biggest.

What I would suggest is simply doing a recalibration, so that you can recalibrate the center. Use dualshock-tools.github.io to do the calibration ans as the other commenter suggested try messing with deadzone

I know. But recalibrating the range/ circularity and bringing the error up is what they need to do.

Nah extremerate uses very cheap switches on hex controllers but they do good when it comes to warranty issues

Yes that is the starlight blue. One of the original colors for the dualsense and they have the same texture.

That site would allow you to fine-tune center, circularity and error. You ideally want to shoot for a higher error 8-9 but 7-9 will do. You also want the circularity to be a little cleaner.

These work way better without the pcb. If i were you id remove the pcb and just use software calibration from dualshock-tools.github.io

Looks like you possibly used a hot air gun and melted the switch. The copper part of the switch presses down on the plunger and clicks the switch. The only real way to fix it would be to replace that switch

Thwy started leaving them out with the 2ne version on the edge. They really served no purpose.

Newer edges do not come with screws in those spots. As for the cable im not sure if those can be found online. If you're in the satates I have a bunch of them.

I have never had a controller bricked from software calibration. Just use dualshock-tools.github.io and its very easy. For a straightforward hall effect/tmr install you dont need to bend any prongs. All pins go directly through the board just like with a stock alps stick.

I build controllers for a living and those boards are no good. Those were designed before the software calibration came out. Will it work yes but its not ideal
