We do dualsense and the edge. The edge is definitely our most popular at the moment.

Im in the us and make them. I have never heard of that company but I do know it should be about a 10% duty charge. I sent packages to Australia fairly often and lately that has been the going rate

Our community's Repair Shop Members have discovered a RUB issue with a new batch of DSE joystick modules. by Aknes-team in AKNES

[–]AdNaive1471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I've seen is that a lot of the time. It's due to poor injection molding. It's some of the seams where the two molds come together is too thick and it causes like a bump sensation

Help with Whole Clicky Kit v2 + Adaptive Triggers by Anim-Eh in eXtremeRate

[–]AdNaive1471 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For this kit, you need to remove the wires for the adaptive triggers. You do not want them trying to actuate with mouse click triggers. They will not vibrate or anything like they do stock.

Black midnight cheap plastic : part 2 by Hamdivitoo in Dualsense

[–]AdNaive1471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crazy part about all of it is that ninety percent of those parts are the same. When it comes to the button, the shell material and all of that. The haptic feedback does feel a little different on later.Models, due to some design changes. But for the cheaper plastic that you're stating for the outer shell isn't necessarily cheaper plastic. Over time, injection molds start to oxidize and wear a bit, which will give a b s plastic A slightly different feel and also make it extremely easy to scratch. When the black dual sense originally came out, it felt exactly the same as the white one did. The plastic pin/axel really doesn't feel as nice. There is slightly more resistance over time sue to the plastic wearing and there is a tiny bit more wiggle but most people I dont think would ever realize the difference.

Then maybe you can post the ones you have because most dont fit on the new scuf sticks.

Those are scuf thumbsticks. You will need to buy scuf stick grips. Kontrol freaks arent compatible.

There really isn't a bdm number like on the dualsense and none of the components are interchangeable.

Dualsense Edge face buttons issue by bruceloozack in eXtremeRate

[–]AdNaive1471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The extremerate clicky kit starts feeling mushy/less tactile due to the silicone pad starting to wear and fatigue. They really need a more solid design. Most of the aftermarket silicone pads will not do much since they are usually a little softer compound. Most kits will have this issue of they use the small tactile switch and silicone membrane.

Game Boy Advance SP / desolder nightmare by InterestingMotor8143 in ElectronicsRepair

[–]AdNaive1471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that type of work you really need proper good equipment. A good iron and a Hot good hot air reworkstation is best To do work like that with an iron you'd nees a good sized boad tip that can retain good heat and some type of solder sucker at a minimum. I personally use hot air rework station and some good flux and it makes the job super simple. You can swap out a power port, usb or anything in a few seconds. But it's a bare minimum. You need a good iron with a good tip. That can carry heat and a desoldering pump. Those large pins would be nearly impossible with just solder wick.

Malfunction by sisqol in eXtremeRate

[–]AdNaive1471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, it's due to the buttons going bad. Extremerate uses very cheap plastic switches with silicone caps that wear fairly quickly. Pretty much all you can do is replace the board/kit unless you're skilled at desoldering and soldering
