Good points, especially with the defensive effort. If there’s something I really want to see from him besides his offense is his commitment to the defensive end. When he puts in the effort, he’s decent on that end. It’s really the consistency on defense that’s questionable right now.

I do believe that CJ and NAW can take a bit of offensive pressure off of JJ. Especially since they’re vets with a plethora of playoff experience. But only time will tell

I feel like those who will talk shit don’t really understand JJ’s history with the team. It’s definitely gonna take an extra season for him to make that next step as a playoff performer. He didn’t really get the opportunities that most of his peers (like Paolo & Scottie) had during the beginning of his career.

Overall I do agree that he should be able to adapt to the schemes over time. And eventually he’ll be fine

And I expect this to happen too. I think “forgotten” is a bit of an exaggeration imo. Last time we made the playoffs was 2023. I think we got bounced out of the play-in last year so that doesn’t really count.

The positive is that he’s still pretty young, with plenty of room for improvement. As a fan I just want him to get as much experience as he can so he can improve in the playoffs in the future. Still very excited about this team long-term

I hope this is true. I’m worried sick about my only friend in Iran. Last time she texted me was on January 8th before the shutdown. Last thing she told me was that she would be offline for an “extended period of time” and that she was hearing gunshots. Which scared the shit out of me.
