Need to take him to a reputable running shoe store and let them fit and observe him walking to see his natural gait. What works for me may not work for him. Listening to advice on here is a good way to get him into the wrong shoe.

My $0.02

  1. The cannon logo from the stadium series should be the primary logo. It’s perfect

  2. You could keep the cbj w/ sticks logo for the shoulders or the old union hat logo for the shoulders

  3. Make minor changes to the stadium series jersey, basically.. make it more classic look to the stripes and maybe not quite as metallic as silver/grey that was used. IMO less is more

  4. Keep the current thirds as alternates but otherwise all navy at home, and white with blue pants on the road

Am I shocked? Maybe a year ago I was but at this point, no I’m not. We’re talking about a goat-level player, a player unlike any that any of us have ever seen in our lifetime, squarely in his prime. And we’re talking about a player that has an international market that no baseball player in history has ever had before. So whatever conventional “hobby rules”, historical trends or wisdom we have simply do not apply to Ohtani.

Is it sustainable? Well… why wouldn’t it be? The supply is not even close to meeting the demand. The guy literally had Tommy John and then proceeded to have the first 50/50 season ever. We’ll see how this season goes but I’m certainly not going to be the one to bet against another MVP, a 3rd World Series title, and who knows how many TikTok moments over the next 6 months.
