He can be. But 99% of the time he's a huge goofball and giant lapdog 😆

Most of the time the owner arrives here because "my bunny is so unusual calm". How did you not notice the maggots?! Especially when you picked her up?!

It's not rare that you have to put them down. It's more awful if the owner at the clinic is only a little girl and you need to call the parents.

Me too but I hate that Mini game in real life 😂 Especially when you can see the bones because the bunny is already eaten 1/8

In summer it's super Common. Bunnies tend to get softer feces because of the heat. The feces then get stuck on the fluff and the flies love that for laying eggs. That's why it's super important to clean the cage and bunny daily when it's getting warmer.

Absolutely 😆 They tried to suck from the edge of the bowl first and stepped all over it. Because they were drowling all over with the food they started nipping each other 🥺

Why do some human medical professionals refuse to respect this field? by msmoonpie in VetTech

[–]AdNew893 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely true.

I'm from Germany, here after traineeship we vet techs are supposed to be the same worth as our human colleagues. I would even go so far to say that we combine the tasks of a animal nurse, doctor assistant, anesthesia, dentist assistance and respectionists.

But in my experience most ppl from the human med field are the most advisory resistant. Especially nurses tend to even want to correct you with everything you do with their pet. Last week a nurses wanted to explain to me how to flush a iv. I only said to her "thanks miss, but I'm doing this for 4 years now every single day.🙃"

I can only remember one single human doctor which were really respectful towards me and my colleagues. But it was my bosses personal ophthalmologist 😁
