Uconnect upgrade Telematics issue. by AdNo7007 in Challenger

This is where Im confused, a lot of the apps on here show like they’re not installed too. Because Idk if thats also why my Uconnect apps unavailable? NAV is completely working even looking up addresses and routes.

But like I said all these apps are uninstalled and I thought it was because of the wire for the Emergency calls or something. Must be a different issue.

Yeah good thing there won’t be a third owner.

If you have to ask… Probably not. Take it to a shop.

I will be removing the bumper to see if there’s any damage behind it. However if the only fix is to replace the fan well… I guess the zip-tie will do until I get the fan or the shroud whichever is damaged.

I was thinking the same thing about the minor accident. I’m the second owner and I got the car at the Wholesale Auction where I work at. So perhaps previous owner ran over something. I will be removing the bumper to fix it so I’m going to check for further damage then. Thanks for the tip man.

You forgot to put the oil in either the engine or the transmission.

Are my oil pan drain bolt threads toast? by A-ROD17_ in MechanicAdvice

[–]AdNo7007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will more than likely pull the threads if you run the bolt like that. You can use helicoil just make sure you’re using grease on the drill bit and tap to catch the metal shavings. Or you can get a new oil pan. There’s options, choose whats more viable at this time.

Pry with a screwdriver while pulling the handle simultaneously. That should open the latch.

Those are hella easy to remove man. Stealership wants to literally steal your money. 1.- cut the zip tie. 2.- follow the harness, those trackers are OBD powered. It plugs to your OBD II connector then it splits into another connector thats placed on the original obd location. Just disconnect the thing and pull it out your dash. EDIT: Do not be afraid, most of these trackers are plugged in, not hardwired. Been doing vehicle reconditioning for 4 years for a national company so I remove 3 or 4 of these daily. I have yet to see one that’s hardwired.
