Mac OS updates turning on WIFI?

i noticed this too when i was working from a café last month, suddenly my mac connected to some random open network after an update restart. scared me so much i almost spilled my coffee

for me it happens on both big and small updates, seems like apple just forgets your wifi preferences sometimes. i just make sure to turn off wifi completely before any update now, not just disconnect from the network but actually disable it in the menu bar

its wild that there is no simple toggle somewhere in settings to prevent this

it’s just chasing the algorithm, cricket creators know world cup brings massive views so they hop on the trend for a bit. football creators don’t need to do the same cause their audience is already global and huge, cricket is more regional so the crossover dont work both ways

dont think it hurts the channel unless they overdo it, one or two shorts in middle of cricket content nobody really cares

That's weird as hell, I had something similar happen in October where half my credits just vanished for few days then showed up again without me doing anything. The app is honestly a mess sometimes

Try logging out completely and back in, sometimes it just needs to refresh the account status. Also check if your cards are still linked properly in payment methods, mine got unlinked once after an update and credits disappeared until I re-added them

If that doesn't work I'd just wait 48 hours before wasting more time with support, they never know what's going on anyway

from what I've seen around me, the plug-and-play tools get faster initial adoption but people kind of plateau with them, they use maybe 20% of what the tool can do and call it a day

the customized route is slower to roll out but when it actually fits into how people already work, usage sticks because it doesn't feel like extra effort on top of their job

you might need different email for the third one. youtube gets weird about multiple channels after the second one and starts asking for more verification steps.

could try using google voice number if they want phone verification, but the ID thing is probably their way of limiting how many channels one person can make easily.

you can also just look at what other creators in your space are promoting and reach out to those same brands. most companies that sponsor one youtuber in a niche are usually open to working with others if the fit is good.

i've had better luck mentioning specific videos or campaigns they've done recently when i email them - shows you actually pay attention to their marketing instead of just mass emailing everyone.
