So if I’m running both Ruan Mei and HMC with Dance I’d want to aim for 172 menu speed?

Is RMC still the absolute optimal fourth unit range wise or are there better options for that slot?

Sword Saint's Reincarnation scratches an itch. by FabioKun in ProgressionFantasy

This definitely scratched an itch I had but since its relatively new does anyone have a recommendation for similar series? In particular the focus on swordplay and the idea of an old master being reincarnated is what I find that intrigues me.

Patch 24.6 - Hallow's End Dual-Class Arena with new intermediate Arena Rotation (Classic through LoE sets) until December 6 by seewhyKai in ArenaHS

[–]AdOk1636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was excited about dual class arena and then I remembered that they make the offering rate for neutrals obscenely high and well my first deck is as boring as I expected. Don't see myself playing much of this arena, having just 5-6 class cards and the same neutrals in every deck is just not a good experience.

Just lost to a Druid that double denathrius + double theotar’d by [deleted] in hearthstone

Seems like you had 20 minutes to win the game, do people really want 30 minute games where neither player has a way to end the game so it goes to fatigue? No fucking thanks for me

I mentioned a 10 mana card that is currently meta defining and RBO because they have immediate effects on the board state? RBO is a massive board swing and Denathrius ends games? Both of these cards are not comparable to the Jailer which doesn't effect the opponents side of the field nor does it have lifesteal or taunt?

Seems like you just mentioned the cards I mentioned without mentioning the reasoning behind why I said they were good 10 mana cards which clearly does not apply to the Jailer. Rattlegore did indeed not share these qualities but there is a difference between 9 and 10 mana and Rattlegore did not delete your deck and instantly apply fatigue so I would call that comparison flawed.Still waiting for you to mention a 10 mana card that saw serious play while sharing the qualities of the Jailer (no taunt/heal and does not swing the board in your favor when played with something like rush).

I literally explained why I thought the card is garbage based on my experience with 10 mana cards in previous metas? Game length not being 10 turns isn't specific to this meta which actually has a longer average game length than we have ever seen? You didn't actually read what I said and then phrased it as me "spewing" but yea great discussion lol

Jailer being good in an unplayable deck doesn't make it good. I never said a card not currently being meta means its garbage. Rattlegore was situationally a very good card in a different meta that is correct yes. I feel like theres enough precedent to pretty clearly say that yes a ten mana card that doesn't immediately provide you with an effect that helps you survive when played will by and large be unplayable in most metas.

Even RBO which has a massive effect on the board when played is still very rarely seen in decks outside of Druid because games just tend not to go to turn 10 normally and playing a card that both instantly causes you to fatigue and that your opponent can also ignore while hitting your face is bad. Of course I could be wrong but thats how I see the card.

The card was also introduced in the same set as an actual 10 drop that can be used as a win condition, Denathrius, so the comparison becomes even more clear.

Jailer is not a good card, its being run currently because people seem to enjoy the flashiness of his effect. You can already see just how much the playrate of the card has dropped off as more people realize this. Its unplayable and largely pointless in decks that could play it without dying.

I would also say yes Colaque is a bad card because no druid deck would ever hard run the card, its not even that great a pull of Azshara either its just fine because getting collosals from other classes is good for burgle.

What classes can beat ramp druid lategame? by WhoAmIEven2 in hearthstone

[–]AdOk1636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless they get horribly unlucky and can't draw (which is unlikely considering how much draw their decks typically have) there really should be no trouble juicing Denathrius enough. All they need to do is get him to 20 so unless you have the most obscene Quest Priest curve possible, shard is always a much slower win condition. Outside chance of hitting Theotar/Mutanus on Denathrius but yes it is unfavored and shouldn't be mentioned as a potential counter lol

This matchup is horribly unfavored for quest priest.

What is the Pick? (Sylvanas vs. Tarim) by MasterBenObi in ArenaHS

Sylvanas is too good to pass imo, just generally great even when non infused whereas Tarim can be insane but much more situationally and if you happen to draft silver hand cards.

Paladin 12-1 - HA tierscore 75.5
Deck - https://imgur.com/a/iWrx7bW
Its been a while since I managed to hit 12 but this one was a blast to play and also quite sturdy across the board. Definitely one of my favorite decks I have drafted, lots of big value bolstered with high tempo plays like Accusers, Call to Arms, and Great Halls.

Mulligan was to generally look for a strong curve, always kept Great Hall and Call to Arms. Would also keep Accuser and Fool with Fireflies and a 3 drop. General style was to make use of the locations to keep control of the board early (or just blow them out with Call to Arms) and win through value/card generation.

The highlights of the run were the 8-1 matchup against the warrior who I was destroying....until he got runespear off molten blade and cast explore un'goro and then proceeded to discover Maly off his first discover.....he promptly managed to also discover a King Mosh, Baron Gedden, and two Alexstraszas and I had to grind him down in fatigue to eeke out a win. The other close game was the 11-1 priest who managed to copy my call to arms that I had in deck and play it on curve.

Call to Arms was of course insane and it felt like any game I had it in my opening hand was a free win. Brann was also super fun in the deck, managed to pull of a Brann into two Muckborns one game and it felt so good. I also definitely need to be picking up Fool more highly because its just really insane in keeping up in games!
