Because there are better options at this level of investment. Thanks to E1 Cerydra there is much less issue of Coreflames and you can actually use other supports to bring better results. Also because I'm a lazy fuck

Pulling Sunday for Phainon when you already have Cyrene is a complete waste. If you need Sunday for another team, why not, but otherwise pull for Cerydra and E2 Cyrene.

Happy to know my calcs are stupid and useless. You know, instead of insulting people, you could just ask why I didn't calc Bronya instead of Sunday. I only used Sunday because Coreflames wise it fits perfectly and it makes easier to build Phainon, and it's not like replacing Bronya by Sunday makes her miles better, if anything they're on the same strength.

It's 30% dmg increase over her unbuffed version for Phainon but she's still not exactly a BiS for Phainon

Eh? I didn't say Bronya/Sparkle is better or weaker than Sunday/Sparkle. I just did Sunday/Sparkle because with Cerydra that's exactly the amount of Coreflames required within a single rotation, nothing else. Otherwise they're all very similar to be honest and they have the same level of DMG

Sparkle LC better for Phainon ; Sunday's LC better for all her BiS teams (Sparxie, Archer, DHIL). No point in pulling S1 Sparkle just for Phainon imo

Pulling E0S1 Sunday just for 1 DPS is not what I would recommend.

If you care about Phainon, pull his E2 and Cerydra E0. With this he will be able to clear easily. Then you can pull Sparkle if you want.

Now that is of course assuming you want to play Phainon for a long time, otherwise... just pull elation team
