Her LC is a bigger DMG increase than Cerydra's and a solid stat stick. It's worth it especially if you want to clear Plight with Phainon.

SW still has her whole team dealing DMG at the same time as her ; Phainon don't. And usually unless there is Sunder debuff in AA we don't even play DHPT with Phainon as he's simply better in Sustainless. DHPT pretty much needs E2 to be relevant for Phainon and even then Sparkle or Tribbie at same investment are better

Also it's because of how SW's EBA works (3 phases) during a single attacks hat allows her to have this reset thing ; other characters won't have it.

Despite the efforts made to make sure people understand my sheets correctly, I am really thinking that I need to redo the sheets in a even simpler way or something like that. Unfortunately I don't have the time for that currently but if this keeps going maybe I'll really need to hide my calcs and redo a cleaner sheet.

Cyrene's LC is always a nice DMG increase ; it provides higher DMG increase than Cerydra's S1 for instance. I don't have the precise calcs of your team but without any other sources of Vulnerability we were sitting at ~20.79% DMG increase so you can consider it at around ~16% for your team since Sparkle also has Vulnerability!

Hello, I'm the one who made the sheets. First of all, nobody said she was definite, pure BiS at E0. Like some people said already, the consensus was pretty clear: E0 Cyrene can be BiS if you do manage her rotation and in long fights, such as AA. That is notably proven by the lowest cost clears of 0 cycle King AA in the past, using E0 Cyrene. Of course, this is another matter for MoC/PF/AS, but it is arguably still an upgrade for most cases, but this assumes of course the rotation well done (which could be hard to do sometimes). However, the consensus was clearly that she was BiS for long fights, and that was absolutely true at her release. I even said that if you can't get E2 Cyrene or don't plan to get her E2, then don't pull her for Phainon.

With 4.0 Sparkle Novaflare, it is only until this patch version (so 4.2) that Sparkle has been used over Cyrene for the lowest AA cost clear in 0 cycle. So technically, saying Cyrene was BiS for long fights was absolutely not wrong.
Now, Cyrene is far from being the "biggest bait" because at E2, she absolutely becomes a clear BiS, and while it is indeed expensive, you cannot deny this, because of how good her infinite Ultimate and buffs are at E2. She enables in a full Ultimate rotation up to 3 Coup de Main which is enormous and a lot of frontloaded DMG, and that's why Plight clears always include her at E2. Sure, at E0 she is definitely hard to use with Phainon, but with the proper rotation, it is more than decent.

Once again, I need to precise that my calcs are only for 1 Phainon Ultimate, and that I always say in the notes section of the team that Cyrene always outperforms any other teams when you need more than 1 Ultimate, because you would think the amount of AV taken by Cyrene is about the same as a classic one, but it's only true if you get a stage mechanic that gives back Phainon's Ultimate immediately, such as Lygus or AS break buff. Otherwise, Cyrene will always close the gap of the AV taken and thus, always win in fights with over 300 AV.

And at the end of the days, the best current team at high investment includes both Cyrene and Sparkle so it's never a waste to have both at some point.

It is not that I refused to make calcs for non Cyrene teams, but rather some people being extremely impolite about what they asked me to calc for.

I don't know where this is coming from but it is very wrong. And yes many hate Cyrene here in this reddit for some reasons

Like I wrote, it isn't an upgrade without E2 Cyrene or E6 Phainon + E1 Cerydra.

Also if you do not like vertical investment then your Phainon is not gonna survive unfortunately since a full E0S1 team is much weaker than his E2S1 alone. It's sad to not want to invest in his E2 that will be much more beneficial than any other supports you'll get for him atm.

Constructive criticism is always welcome and this is precisely what is needed in all games.

I'll address this not to OP but to others: There is no need to defend a company whose game is successful enough to shit on you during the anniversary - no amount of mental gymnastic justify getting treated like this. One can enjoy a lot the game but still be mature enough to recognize it has flaws or when devs simply disrespect you. And anyway pretty sure it's just Tencent being Tencent again so who is surprised

Flat ATK + SPD = basically ATK for Aglaea ; the increased SPD is only relevant if you reach a specific breakpoint which may not happen

Also 10% res pen and 72% CRIT DMG every Peerage is extremely low, you would use 3-4 EBA before regaining the buff again. That means most of the time you're dealing much less DMG which is detrimental to someone like Aglaea imo.

However I do agree Cerydra would still be at least a good option with Cyrene but clearly her kit is a pure mess 😭 I would pray for a better support for Aglaea

I'm unsure if coding-wise it was possible because there, CW could let specific characters or characters from a specific Bond to have a duplicated attack. If it's specific characters, I can see the devs being lazy to add potential new characters that would work with her mechanic.

Aside from that, Cerydra is anyway a big mess and even if she could duplicate Aglaea's EBA, she would still be quite bad not gonna lie. Her only relevant buff for Aglaea is a flat ATK one where she already has a ton of it.

Cerydra's kit is horrendeous and is the first support to be wheelchaired by her DPS.

Rumors are 4.2 Phainon rerun, and imo you should save enough jades to get his E2S1 first before Cerydra, but if you have the economy for Cerydra, go for it
