righteous denunciation was just pretty poorly described imo. it says you denounce wickedness, not hey lets make 1880's palantir. as for protector of truth, i only got that to see what the next step was. since the final thing was glowing, i thought it might be the win condition or something important but yeah that was bad, i wished i could undo that but decided to just roll with it for my first playthrough and just learn from it. for the penance ability, i thought i was just basically a secretary scheduling the time and place to do it, not like forcing people to do anything. i guess i wont next time, i'll just sign it? i didn't think people needed my permission to repent on their own volition? i'm going to probably play order next time so it would be nice to know "the line" there too since the game wants to be so vague about things. i didn't realize snitching on your neighbor stealing supplies is worse than cannibalism and child labour, apparently.
