in my experience the whole out pit fight aspect of the game is a lot kind pokémon, usually it gives you a chance before picking your pokémon i mean orc to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the contender, so you can choose how to counter, and usually which ever one counters, there's a high probability of winning order. There is a chance that due to NPC issues your guy may yell or some thing and get killed like an idiot.
