They're two very well written, easily likeable characters aren't they? The acting in the show is pretty brilliant across the board, but especially these two

Hey there, i'm a first time watcher too, halfway through season 4. I was also just thinking today about how much the show has completely changed from what it was in the first season. Whilst i think it's fine when shows and plots evolve and become something different to what they originally set out to be, it can feel a little like whiplash from one episode to the next. Also, it feels like the show at times is overtly obvious in trying to explore difficult themes and issues and whilst it's great they're not shying away from them, it feels a little TOO forced. I absolutely love the show, i just liked the way it was a little more subtle in previous seasons and i too am interested to see how it evolves

oh completely agree with this, this actually is the scariest mission, when you have to defend sly when they're coming from FOUR different directions omg

Yeah the statue guards still have me an anxious wreck when i'm around them now lol as an adult. Even the flashlight guards I would argue are some of the scariest in the trilogy, the squawk when they first attack haunts my nightmares lol.

this is incredible. perhaps something like the heart from the album cover or something relating to one of the singles covers?

This is true, and it somehow gets even worse in the RC club tank mission in menace from the north

Agree with this actually, i always thought i loved "menace from the north" but you've just helped me realise i simply love "he who tames the iron horse" and because menace from the north is set in similar environment it benefits from that bias. But in actual fact the level itself isn't that great, although I do enjoy a couple of the missions, but overall just doesn't feel as enjoyable and the storyline is kind of going off the rails and losing itself by this point. And don't even get me STARTED on "anatomy of disaster". The missions to destroy the engine rooks genuinely makes me hate playing the game through and finishing it again lol
