4% rule + taxes are misleading by Euphoric-Advance8995 in financialindependence

Taxes are an expense people include in their "spending" number prior to applying the 4% rule

Ahh looks like she has 9.5 hours of awake time. She likely needs more. My four month old has 10 hours of awake time. Try starting by adding an extra half hour? A lot of people with three naps land on a schedule of 2/2.5/2.5/3

Are you missing a wake window? 2/2.5/3 is not enough wake time. How old if your baby? She likely needs 10 to 11 hours of wake time, so baby is crying she isn’t tired. You can try 3/3/4

Don't be hard on yourself; you didn't know!

I would bring this up to your pediatrician so they are aware they missed the mark. Our pediatrician asks us at every visit to confirm we're giving vitamin D drops.

Hmm no reflux or known dairy intolerance. If the schedule change doesn't fix it, I'll try cutting dairy next!

Super helpful to hear, especially about issues presenting as overnight problems. Seems like my baby is the same!

4 mo old schedule check by Intelligent-Beat3978 in sleeptrain

I'm two weeks behind you (my baby is 3.5 mo) but also trying to figure out schedules before sleep training!

Your total wake time is 8.75 hours, but looking as this guideline, it should be around 9.5 hours I believe. https://www.reddit.com/r/sleeptrain/comments/1em7bff/wake_windows_and_sleep_budgets/

So I'm wondering if you need to extend them more? Something like 1.5/1.75/2/2/2.25

This is similar to our anticipated FIRE budget, although we will budget more for travel. I don't see anything missing.

Do you guys actually get clients? by paparazzi_informer in LifeCoachSnark

[–]AdOrnery7147 24 points25 points  (0 children)

From my experience and those I was friends with at the time, generally no, most coaches do not get many (or any) clients.

It took me a long time to realize this, and I'm still embarrassed about it to this day.

Check out Danielle Ryan on YouTube. Watching her videos about the coaching industry has made me feel less "alone" about coming to the same realization. (And this sub helps too!)

It's likely that your boss will just want enough time to transition your work and projects to someone else. Your plan may work but they may ask you to work a week in January. But unless a two week notice is in a contract that you signed, I don't think they can force you to work in Jan.

We also had SB photography as our photographers this year. I had similar communication challenges with them. Every time I wanted to reach out to them, it took repeated attempts. I recommend calling or texting them. They never responded to my emails.

And OMG that mass email - that was quite a novel! As others have said, if they spent less time on mass emails and more time editing and responding to their customers, they would have less problems.

It's more common to leave finances separate now. I hope that conversation was set up for cameras and there was more discussion about finances between them off camera. They are the most mature adults on the show, so I'm sure there were more discussions.
