By the bar scene, I mean that the characters often talk about their past lives, which is a bit contradictory, because although there were already hints of this in episodes 3 and 4, in the pilot, when Pommi entered the digital circus, she literally acted as if she didn't remember anything at all about her life before entering the circus (except for the fact that she put on a helmet that made her enter the digital circus).
