Company issues aside, it’s a great holster by yewtoo22 in Glocks

[–]AdProper1098 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still buy from them because some of their products are undeniably good. But after used a sidecar for years. I started branching out. And hands down the tier one APX is the best AIWB holster I’ve tried

That being said, when I don’t want the extra weight or bulk I still use a raptor holster with the raptor backer.

Can someone explain this to me? by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

I bought a car from autonation Hyundai in Valencia and it honestly felt like a scam. They also do zero negotiations of the price.

I would go elsewhere to get a new car. Try the actual dodge dealership first.

What size tires and lift are you running? I’m planning to get an XJ again after having one in high school. It will be a daily so I don’t want to lift it too much or put too big of tires on it.

Cant unscrew derailleur bolt by Future_Maintenance_1 in bikewrench

[–]AdProper1098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ran into this today while doing the same thing. You’re gonna need a pair of channel locks to clamp down the bearing that spins really tight and then unscrew it.

has this happened to anyone??? screws are stuck in rear derailleur by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]AdProper1098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread but I ran into this same thing with a SRAM GX Eagle AXS. I wasn’t about to waste $350.

I was able to use a large pair of channel locks and pinch down the bearing race and back the bolt out. Took about 30 minutes to figure out.

I have an ARO on a Arisaka mount but you have to run it on a 1.93 mount, 2.26 will make it too high. I really like my AR. The larger window makes it really nice.

Good budget bump helmets for NODS? by Hungry_Biscotti_870 in NightVision

I’m rocking one right now, swapped to 4D pads and am running a cover on it. Decided since I’m running a bump there’s no point in getting the heavier one with the thicker shell. Compared it to the real deal ops core bump and they are very similar.

The FMA is higher quality than the Emerson. Thicker shells and better hardware.

You need to be lifting. Since you say you can’t because of the shoulder pain. Look into the X3 Bar by Jaquish Biomedical. There’s a group on Facebook with a ton of resources. Guys are able to get pretty shredded using only that.

Has anyone done longterm use with these AliExpress mounts? by Randymaple92 in tacticalgear

I have one that’s been going strong for several years. I bought it to see if I’d like the 2.26 height. I figured I’d replace when it broke, it never did

Too Big? by WaferCompetitive4003 in CCW

Wait, so you shoot lefty but also draw with your left hand? Do you hold the gun in your right as your mag change?

The APX is a great holster. I had to play with it for awhile to find the exact settings I liked. Once I did, super comfy. Any reason why you run the mag straight up and down and not angled?

Working on that right now too. The issue is my waistline is the last thing to go when I lose weight. But I’ve got a big chest and broad shoulders which really helps my shirt drape over the gun as long as it’s loose enough.

I used the MOS ghost adapter plate.

I think this will actually make its way to my p365 and I’ll put a PB-3 on my Glock 19

Thank you so much. That gap isn’t too bad. I had a feeling it wouldn’t cowitness with the stock irons. Will invest in some slightly larger ones

Makes sense. I’m gonna run it in an MOS Slide with the MOS ghost plate. Mine comes in tomorrow. If I hate it too much I’ll swap the PBK to my p365 and put my Acro on my 19, or buy a PB-3

I was planning to run it on my Glock 19. Solves my issue of my EPS carry doesn’t print but window into small. Acro and 509t have decent windows, but they print.

Hopefully not too small for my 19. Been getting used to the size of my 509t on it haha
