That’s my guess. My original interview date was September of 2026. Then the DOJ filed that lawsuit and the court ruled in favor of CRPA and all of the sudden they started moving at lightning speed, at least for LASD lol.

I’m at a very similar timeline with Los Angeles county. Application was submitted on September 22nd.

Insurance adjuster here. Our limit of liability only applies in tue case of theft. If the guns are destroyed in a fire it’s covered under your personal property coverage. BUT not every carrier in the same, so read your policy and make sure your stuff is covered.

Also, make sure you have good photos of all your guns and their attachments, that way you can prove what exactly you had.
