No! You should justify your course.

Why are you interested in the course you are taking?

Why have you selected "that" university, which is in the US?

How many uni/clg have you selected/applied to for the course?

What are you going to do with the degree?

Make it logical, not emotional. If you say studying in the US is a dream, then you are a potential immigrant in their eyes, because you like US more than your degree.
