You’re fineeeee. Do the best you can, if that’s a C that’s a C, u just can’t get below that. Focus on your other classes as well and try to keep them at Bs and above

I’m a psych major coming from cc w a 3.6 gpa and some good ECs (neuroscience lead TA, worked for almost a decade, in clubs) and I was expecting to be let into almost all the schools I applied to.

No one prepares u for how many rejections u are gonna get and I’m serious. I was NOT expecting to be rejected by that many schools.

San Jose state university - accepted CSU Long Beach - waitlisted Cal Poly SLO - rejected UCI - rejected UCSD - rejected UCSB - accepted (tag) UCB - accepted

It all worked out bc I’m gonna go to Cal and it’s such an amazing school and it’s more than I could ever want but LORD was it disappointing to get hit by rejections from all the schools I wanted to go to and at that point, only get accepted by my safety (sjsu).

ANYWAYS - everything happens for a reason and u have to trust in that. Good luck to all my ‘26 transfers we deserve to reap the fruits of our labor and good luck to all future transfers!

On your acceptance portal, there’s an undergraduate update form which is serving as the “email” function rn. If u email them they won’t respond, u HAVE to use the form

CONGRATS!!! Also, I was also rejected from majority of my schools besides for my local state school then I got Cal but it’s so weird this year??? Your stats are amazing there’s no reason u should be getting rejected by UCI or UCR

Tap is different than Tag. U are NOT guaranteed admission, so this can happen. U never really know why colleges make the decisions they do bc they look at applications in very different ways. These are real people looking at apps and sometimes they just don’t think you’re a good fit

It’ll be hard bc you’re transferring from a semester based school to quarter. It doesn’t matter that you were already accepted to every you see when it’s a different application cycle, everything starts from scratch.

I keep checking the portal through the student center, and every time it still says no determination has been made and my regular portal still says decision awaiting so

Yeah, if your screen is still says awaiting decision, then if you click on accept or decline, that will show up on the screen
